Christmas single

It’s the most wonderful time of the year – but let’s face it, Christmas isn’t without its challenges! Especially if you happen to find yourself single or travelling alone over the holidays…

Our new research discovered that solo sleepers are far more likely to draw the short straw when it comes to festive sleeping arrangements.

For example, almost half of those we asked had slept on something other than a bed when visiting relatives over the festive period, with sofas, blow-up beds and the floor being the most common options.

Sign of the Season

Singing together at Christmas is an age-old tradition, and a great way of bringing people together throughout the festive season. With this in mind, we wanted to try a new way of bringing the Christmas carol to life!

With the help of some very special VIP partners, we created Sign of the Season, a multi-sensory Christmas carol that uses Makaton, British Sign Language (BSL) and body percussion to help everyone enjoy a good singalong this Christmas!

Sign of the Season is a mash up of our favourite Christmas carols, and it’s all in the spirit of raising money for the incredible GOSH Charity Christmas Appeal.

Winter Wonderland

Winter Wonderland first started way back in 2007 when it was just an outdoor ice rink and a Christmas market. Since then, it’s grown to become one of the most popular places to visit in London at Christmas!

From mid-November to January, a huge area near Hyde Park Corner transforms into a fairy-tale land, complete with traditional fairground rides, a giant observation wheel, a circus and – of course – Santa’s Grotto.

Beautiful theatres at Christmas

From the Nutcracker ballet to A Christmas Carol, who doesn’t love a festive theatre trip in the winter? Plus, thanks to some impressive architecture and historic locations, often the theatres themselves are just as beautiful as the performances!

As the Christmas season draws near, we set out to discover the most beautiful theatres across the globe by conducting an eye-tracking study – to do this, we used a clever software that tracked how long each participant looked at an image of a theatre to determine the most appealing ones.

And now, the results are in.
