"Beware if you are gluten free!"
Be aware of the gluten free options I was really ill! Waited nearly an hour and a half for food waitresses rushed off their feet! Apparently only one chef working Cleanliness of bathrooms also very poor
"Terribly disgusting hotel and customer service from the head office"
Horrendous hotel. Stayed pre a flight for a family holiday. On check in, was advised that the hotel was fully booked. Got to my room and there was a huge clump of hair on the bathroom floor, sticky water marks on the bedside table, the floor had not been hoovered and when I went to get another pillow, there was eyelash infills stuck to it, it was clear this room had not been serviced. I complained via email as the lady on check in was on her own and had already said it was fully booked so I knew there was nothing that could be done. My reply on email was a partial refund due to not informing staff on the day. I’m disgusted in this customer service and the state of the room. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
"Pay for room, then pay again for parking."
I can’t really fault the hotel in and of itself, a premiere inn is a premier inn, the staff were friendly and helpful, the food at the restaurant was good quality, and whilst I felt the provisions inside the room itself (shampoo, soap, etc) was a bit minimalistic, the real issue is the parking. Given that this hotel is close to the airport I feel it’s quite reasonable to assume a lot of guests will be travelling there by car, to then be slapped with a £15 a day parking charge is I feel, absolutely outrageous, and whilst I might appreciate that this might be done to dissuade people flying out of the airport parking there, I cant see how a hotel can charge paying guests so much for parking, daily, and only in £15 per 24 hour period. I’ve never heard of a hotel not having parking for its guests, and whilst some argument might be made that the parking is operated by an independent company, I can’t imagine that Premier Inn doesn’t have an oversight of this. I felt the £60 parking charge the end of the four day stay spoiled the entire experience for me.
"convenient, clean, hassle free."
Great Location, especially if our going to the NEC, great atmosphere around the place. Out room was on the ground floor, which for us was a bonus as we didn't ask for it. The rooms was great value for money, very clean and the nose level was super, we didn't hear a thing! staff were very welcoming and answered all our questions. differently will be staying again for our business trip next year.
"Awful 😞"
Awful - would not book again. Carpets and decor are old and ragged. Both lifts were out of order - we had 2 very large suitcases as we had just returned from a long haul flight and had to carry them up 2 flights of stairs. Staff in the restaurant/bar were lovely and the only saving grace of this tired establishment. Would not book again.
