"Maybe avoid this location"
Reception won’t tell you to book a slot for breakfast so it’s very much hope there is a table. Breakfast demand means trying to get a whole plate of food is impossible, waiting for eggs, then mushrooms etc. screaming kids made it an less than pleasant relaxing environment. Main restaurant can’t cope with demand. Sunday night they closed service at 8:30pm. Waiter was beyond rude. No aircon in rooms and fan provided is insufficient.
"Absolutely Awful , would never stay here or eat here again. Not up to Premier inn / Beefeater standard"
I recently stayed at this Premier Inn/ Beefeater on a business trip for the past 2 working weeks and was very disappointed with the overall experience. The room itself had maintenance issues, including the toilet roll holder coming away from the wall. Despite asking twice for the room to be cleaned during my stay, this was not done. The receptionist was unhelpful and, at times, quite rude, appearing to pick and choose who she wanted to assist. The bar and restaurant service was particularly poor. The bar manager, Mark, was extremely unprofessional, going so far as to call us “liars” when we raised a concern. He admitted his staff were “not trained” and explained the hotel’s meal deal in a very confusing and inaccurate way. Service was also slow and disorganised – food arrived cold, starters were served after the mains, and drinks took over 30 minutes to be brought to the table. The bar staff generally came across as dismissive, which was very disappointing. The one positive aspect of the stay was the Beefeater waitress team. They were consistently polite, attentive, and willing to help, and should be recognised for their professionalism. Would like to say a huge thank you to Natalie and Abby for the service they provided Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives. , and this stay did not meet the standard I would expect from Premier Inn/ Beefeater.
"Close to Longleat"
Our family of 9 stayed at Premier Inn Frome for 2 nights in a Premier Plus and 2 family rooms. The Plus room was impressive, very cool, clean and we had comfortable nights sleep. The family rooms were spacious but 1 was over the front bar area so a bit noisy for the children to sleep and the bathroom especially, not clean.  Both family rooms were very hot even with the hotel fan on, but having previously read in the hotel description there is no aircon we had taken our own fans as extra in preparation for the hot weekend.  The breakfasts in the Beefeater were good and the staff were pleasant, accommodating and hardworking.  It was an easy drive to Longleat. Overall we had a great weekend.
"Be aware No Air Conditioning"
Beware this hotel does not have Aircon on one of the hottest days of the year we were given a fan. When put on the coldest it blew out dust. I booked three rooms for family at a cost of £441 for a trip to Longleat. We all had problems with water pressure which we reported on leaving. The staff were lovely. When we checked in we were told we may not get breakfast as they hadn’t had a delivery. However breakfast was lovely they had had their delivery miscommunication somewhere.
"Hot 🥵"
Feeling hot hot hot! As you can see if you want the family room prepare to sweat! No air con just a fan blowing around hot air and no window to fully open. We didn’t have any bedding on the beds, and when we found blankets under the bed the double was covered in urine. Not ours! A complaint to reception and they were switched but by this point sleeping in the car felt cleaner. Shame as the pub under altho basic isn’t bad, it’s near the safari, easy drives but it needs an over haul in cleanness’s and modernization. Staff friendly and trying their hardest. 2/5
