"Premier Plus room- Great value for money"
I stayed in a Premier Plus Room with a view, which is part of an ongoing renovation and refurbishment initiative. I had been notified in advance that there was refurbishment ongoing, but during my stay, I didn't encounter any disruption, apart from one of the elevators being out of service, but that didn't impact me too much. The room was spotless, and had a fragrant, pleasing scent when I first walked in. The bed had freshly washed sheets, and a comfy mattress. The rainfall shower-head and new soaps / shower amenities were excellent. The desk was a great size, and perfect for anyone travelling for work. Also equipped with a desk lamp to help in low light conditions. Next to the desk is a HDMI port so you can connect your laptop, iPad, etc to watch content on the TV.

The room featured plenty of plug sockets to charge devices, and the two sockets on either side of the bed feature a USB-A port. The mini-fridge was an excellent perk, and virtually unheard of in a room as reasonably priced as this. The Project Art Works throughout the room added a nice touch, brightening up the room and display lesser known artists. The staff at check-in were very friendly and were very knowledgeable about the local area. As I was in line to check-in, I witnessed the check-in staff provide informative and accurate directions to the SSE Arena, and also noted multiple destinations along the way to stop in for coffee or food. This level of service was absolutely outstanding in my opinion, solidifying this hotel as a great place for tourists and visitors. The night porters were incredibly friendly and helpful. To top it off, this hotel is in a prime and central location, being just a few minutes walk from Belfast City Hall, while still offering a ridiculously reasonable price. If I were to pick out a few minor issues: I really have no major critiques about the room, location, service. The only minor drawback was that the Ultimate Wi-Fi speed is limited to 8mb download, which can be a bit slow, especially for anyone travelling for work.
The TV is a bit small for the size of the room, especially when sitting in the lounging chair.
"Horrible"
Recently stayed here for a couples getaway, the worst weekend of my ENTIRE life, unable to get any sleep at all, constant moaning and banging all night long absolute joke!!!! Stains all over the duvet and don’t get me started on the curtain pole which fell off every 5 minutes.
"Great location"
Great, convenient location. Staff were friendly, hotel was clean. Bed was comfortable. My only complaint is that the shower/tub walls were awkwardly high which made getting in and out of the tub difficult.
"Anniversary weekend."
A busy city centre hotel but a quiet nights sleep. Our room was clean and well kept and as the manager has been given a tip that it was our anniversary we were greeted with chocolates, processco and balloons. A lovely personal touch which we appreciated. There was a little mix ip with our booking but it was sorted out by Johnathon and his team of lovely ladies. Breakfast was as it always is in Premier Inn and plenty of choice although I believe there was a bit of a wait for the eggs. All in all a very pleasant stay with very obliging staff.
"Poor repeated breakfast daily"
On the whole room was clean .booked in for 4 nights plus breakfast .First 1st was cold plus plates.next day it started off the same but Then the manager came in and turned the hot counter up and plate warm up .2nd BREAKFAST .noone seem to understand this.!!! the 3rd breakfast it was NOT hot but did complain .4th was just the same .its need to be address. Everyday bacon was over cooked .wont be staying here again .disappointing. belfast is a busy and pretty place 1st visit .but won't stay in alfred street p.inn again🙄.also day 3 the manager said he was refund 2 breakfast x2 for these day.but when checking out he hadnt even made a note .but before we left the women behind reception refunded all 4days of breakfast x 2 .lucky we checked...THS NEEDS ADDRESSING.
