"Not going back"
Showerhead was not working properly. Water spurted out from the back of the showerhead. A fake nail was found on the floor. A vape was found under the bed. The telephone was not working. No dial tone. Otherwise very comfortable bed and friendly staff members.
"A really nice stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
A really great location, wish it had its own car park. The breakfast was really nice, plenty of options hot and cold. The room was clean and air conditioned which was a bonus. The staff were super friendly and were great with our 9 year old. Would definitely return if we were to stay in Belfast again.
"Excellent experience"
I stayed recently for one night with my daughter and her 2 friends. We dealt with Bonita at check in an she was more than helpful as well as highly entertaining! I was delighted to be upgraded to a premier plus room and Bonita gave us some excellent advice regarding parking and places to visit. I have stayed in this hotel on numerous occasions in the past for both work and leisure, and have found the standards to be always very high. We look forward to returning soon and have recommended the hotel to friends and family.
"Lovely room, slept really well"
Great hotel, lovely beds and the staff were great. We were made feel so welcome by the reception staff. Special thanks to Bonita !
"Ladies weekend"
The hotel makes a good first impression from the outside, with a lovely garden at the back. The reception area is bright but rather small. Check-in was hectic, as there was only one person on the desk. She was lovely and doing her best, but she was trying to answer the phone, reply to emails, check guests in, and serve at the bar all at once. I ended up waiting 15 minutes to be served at the bar, while two other staff members walked past—one heading out for a cigarette and the other remarking they would “send out the skivers from the back.” Our bedroom, a large family room for two friends, was spacious and comfortable. The bed was clean, with extra pillows provided. Unfortunately, the bathroom was far from clean. I found several different types of hair (including pubic hair), dust and dirt in neglected areas, mold on the tiles, and an overall lack of hygiene that was unacceptable. Only one lift was working for the eight floors. This didn’t affect us much, as we were on the first floor, but it did create crowding in the small waiting area. Breakfast was adequate—hot food was somewhat dry from sitting under the heat lamps, but the pastries, cereal, and fruit were fresh and enjoyable. Overall, the stay felt extremely overpriced for two nights, likely due to the busy weekend with Farmers’ Weekend, The Darkness, and Peter Kay all in town. The quality of the hotel, however, did not match the price. No evening meals were available all weekend, as per a sign in the lobby apologising for the inconvenience. In my opinion, the hotel is either short-staffed or lacking in staff training. The cleaning, in particular, needs much more attention to detail.
