"A fine example of a Premier Inn"
We had a great experience here to break up a long journey.
From start to finish, every staff member was helpful and smiley. The blond lady checking guests in just after 3pm on Saturday, 20th June particularly stood out as having a welcoming and nothing too much trouble attitude. First impressions are so important and five stars all the way here.
Parking is plentiful and free (don't forget to register your vehicle upon check in). Our Premier Plus room was recently refurbished and spotless. The air conditioning worked a treat.
We didn't try the on site restaurant at the pub next door, mainly due to recent negative reviews. The hotel is really well positioned though with plentiful restaurants (and pubs/bars) on the doorstep. This includes a Wetherspoons for a cheap breakfast (we found a short cut via the sainsburys car park next door). Well located for the pretty marina area too. We were very impressed with Portishead in general as it had a lovely, vibrant, and cosmopolitan feel.
A hotel we'll definitely make a point of returning to in the future.

Lovely clean and comfortable hotel with a pub on-site. Good food. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent place to stay. Good location for shopping and to the marina

The hotel was easily accessible within walking distance of the marina and with plenty of parking.
Staff were super friendly and helpful.
The first room I was allocated was on the ground floor so the window was unable to be opened - I asked in reception if I could be moved to a room where the window could be opened so I could get some fresh air and the lady on reception was really kind and put me in a Premier Plus room upstairs where the windows open - although to be honest the only difference I could see between a Premier Plus room and an ordinary room was that the hangers are covered in felt - I guess that counts as "Premier Plus" in Premier Inn land!
The bed as always with a Premier Inn was lovely and comfortable.

"Disappointing food."
Room was nice clean well appointed but why no plug sockets or ability to charge phone by bed? Paid for the meal deal . But wasn't really a deal. Selection of breakfast items poor. Evening meal was worse there were more items off the menu than on it!

Great location for a couples getaway, walking distance to the marina and town with free parking.
Welcoming staff , freshly decorated room , comfy bed, quiet at night , probably the best premier we’ve stayed in .
Well done to all , we had a lovely relaxing stay .
