Portishead hotel

The Premier Inn Portishead is fine, but don't have your evening meal there unless you like to wait and receive it cold ! Breakfast was good though !

Premier inn hotel....you know what youre gonna get....attached pub/ restaurant...DO NOT use it was lack lustre, food literally worst pizza...which is hard to mess up.... steaks were overdone, chips etc cold, coleslaw awful , nachos worse than a chain rhyming with noons...which takes some doing and drinks way more than the name drop at 5 mins walk away I wished I'd stayed there to eat.. Service was reflective of 2 staff trying to meet a not very busy but not quiet restaurant..in hindsight when I was advised 3 times re food waits maybe it was a subtle hint...(I wish id listened) to go elsewhere ... Icing on cake Deserts were forgotten N pub closed at 9pm AVOID eating here...n prob avoid drinking here too

We had a great experience here to break up a long journey. From start to finish, every staff member was helpful and smiley. The blond lady checking guests in just after 3pm on Saturday, 20th June particularly stood out as having a welcoming and nothing too much trouble attitude. First impressions are so important and five stars all the way here. Parking is plentiful and free (don't forget to register your vehicle upon check in). Our Premier Plus room was recently refurbished and spotless. The air conditioning worked a treat. We didn't try the on site restaurant at the pub next door, mainly due to recent negative reviews. The hotel is really well positioned though with plentiful restaurants (and pubs/bars) on the doorstep. This includes a Wetherspoons for a cheap breakfast (we found a short cut via the sainsburys car park next door). Well located for the pretty marina area too. We were very impressed with Portishead in general as it had a lovely, vibrant, and cosmopolitan feel. A hotel we'll definitely make a point of returning to in the future.

Lovely clean and comfortable hotel with a pub on-site. Good food. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent place to stay. Good location for shopping and to the marina
