"needs more staff"
Check in automated, but staff will do it too. Room clean and ok, no info in room - so had to chase housekeeping about top ups to Hospitality tray ( turned out to be by reception). Only discovered the biscuits on day 3!
Light wouldn't stay on, so same lovely housekeeping lady explained that bit too! needed a fresh card - apparently the new room cards don't all work!
Food was ok.
Stay marred by the desperate shortage of staff. St Patrick's day and a Liverpool international match were on consecutive days of our stay and the hotel was heaving.
2 members of staff to operate reception, the bar and 'wait ' in the restaurant was ridiculous.
probably the last time we'll use PI - it has become far too impersonal

"Not The Best This Time."
We visited this Premier Inn back in June 2023 and had a great stay but this time wasnât as good. We were staying in Room 107. Check in was quick and easy and the reception staff were very good. As we entered the room there was an unusual smell mixed with a bleach smell but thought it was just some cleaning fluid they had used. The room was clean and had a bath with a shower over it. The shower was just a trickle with no power behind it at all. We did have a good nights sleep apart from the pillows being very flat, even the spare ones. The breakfast on the first morning was ok but there was no black pudding so a bit disappointing as this makes a Premier Inn breakfast. I asked the receptionist if there would be any the following morning but was told it was hard to get hold off and they were hopefully having a delivery that day. The toasterâs need to be sorted out as it took ages for the bread to even start getting any colour. Every time we entered the room there was an unusual smell coming from the vent near the door but we just couldnât put our finger on what the smell was. Very quiet at night so that was a bonus. The following day the breakfast was just table service so no helping yourself, which we thought was very odd plus again no black pudding even though there is a billboard sign outside advertising the breakfast with black pudding on it. The reception staff were really great especially Jess(I think that was her name) apologies if not correct, as she was there for most of our stay. We have been in quite a few Premier Innâs where they have been upgraded and these rooms do need the upgrade, especially the shower. We would stay again, even if the stay wasnât that good this time. Please make sure you keep hold of Jess as she is an asset to this Premier Inn.

"âRest Easyâ promise not delivered â accessibility and noise issues ignored"
This may be my first Trip Advisor review.
But this stay was deeply disappointing. I have used Premier Inns across the country but my first time visiting Liverpool, this was a terrible experience.
There was a persistent clicking noise in my room which made it impossible to sleep. I reported this to reception and later returned with video evidence so the issue could not be dismissed. I was assured maintenance would be informed, yet no one attended and the problem was never resolved.
As a disabled guest with mobility needs, I had called earlier in the day to confirm the room had a suitable bathtub, which was confirmed. However, I was not informed that the bath seal was broken. This added further difficulty and discomfort.
While staff apologized, apologies without action is not enough. I had clearly explained my health needs, yet no meaningful steps were taken to ensure a restful or accessible stay.
For ÂŁ200, I expected the basic standard Premier Inn advertises. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below that expectation.
I hope this is taken seriously so future guests, particularly those with accessibility requirements, are not left in a similar position.
When I first arrived, I tried to use the self check in but it said the room wasn't available. The desk agent then checked me in. I think maybe the room wasn't ready but because I was ready to check in (1hr after check in, maybe my room was rushed, hence all the issues)
I am left to wonder if I wasn't disabled would they have taken my concerns seriously.

"Very disappointed."
Very disappointed. Room was shabby, the carpet stained and it smelt as if someone had been smoking in the bathroom. Stayed three nights and on each occasion asked for the room to be cleaned and the towels replaced. It never happened. The corridor was dirty and wasn't vacuumed during our stay. The staff were very pleasant but it is the worst Premier Inn that we've stayed in.
