"Never Again!"
This is the first time I have ever walked out of a hotel and booked somewhere else! I arrived exhausted after a long journey & lugging my suitcase on a hot afternoon from my car. There isn’t parking at the hotel, which I knew when I booked and is common in a town centre. The receptionist was pleasant enough and checked me into my premier room. However, after exciting the lift my room was at the end of a very long and dark corridor, as there were no lights on except the emergency lighting. Then when I opened the door I found the room was either still occupied or it hadn’t been made up yet as I could see the duvet draped on the floor and it smelt of aftershave or perfume. I didn’t venture in and lugged my case back to reception where the receptionist apologised and said she would check another room was ready before I went back up. I asked if the new room would be on the same corridor, as I wasn’t feeling comfortable about walking back to my room in the dark after the theatre. I was informed that the maintenance man had left his job and they hadn’t found a replacement yet, but yes the room was on the same corridor. So back up I went to the end of the same corridor, only to open the door to the new room and be met with the smell of stale cigarette smoke! I didn’t even sit down. I went on my phone and booked a room at the Holiday Inn Express, for half the price, which was bright, spotless & the staff were extremely helpful, even offering me a room near the lift as a solo female traveller. I was too tired and late to tell the receptionist at the Premier Inn I was leaving so I have put down my loss to a bad mistake, never to be repeated and to be honest it has put me off Premier Inn altogether.

"Awful!"
This was the only time I have ever walked out of a hotel & booked somewhere else. I arrived fairly exhausted after a long journey & lugging a heavy case on a hot afternoon from my parked car. They don’t have car parking on site which I knew but it meant I was keen to relax for a bit in my room before going out. The receptionist was pleasant & checked me in. After exciting the lift my room was at the very end of a long corridor that was barely lit & felt oppressive. I opened my door only to discover that either the room was already occupied or it hadn’t been serviced. I didn’t even step inside as I could see the bedding unmade. Having lugged my case back down to reception the receptionist apologised & said she would organise another room and go to check it was made up. I asked if the room was on the same floor as I wasn’t feeling comfortable about walking the length of the long corridor in the dark on my own after the theatre. I was told that apparently the maintenance man had left his job and they hadn’t found a replacement but my room was on the same floor. Anyway, I made my way back to my new room, also at the furthest end of the same dark corridor, walked in and was immediately met with the smell of stale cigarette smoke. I didn’t even sit down. I went online and booked a room at the Holiday Inn Express, for half the price, which was bright, spotless & the staff friendly. I was too exhausted and late so didn’t bother to inform reception I was leaving. Never again and sadly it has put me off Premier Inn.

"Great Location and Value"
Fantastic city centre location, just next door to Lime Street railway station. Check in was via self service terminals - very easy to use but there was a member of staff there to help if anyone did have a problem. The room was quite small, as you’d expect in a city centre budget hotel, but was clean, fresh and comfortable (looked like it may have had a recent refresh/refurbishment). Breakfast was the usual high quality Premier Inn buffet - ample choice and very nicely presented.
Overall I was delighted with my 2 nights in this hotel, and there’s no complaints from me. The staff, though very hard worked, were all pleasant and welcoming. I’ll certainly stay here again next time I visit Liverpool.

"Very accommodating hotel"
Excellent position. In centre Liverpool. Opposite Lime Street Station. Staff excellent very kind to my husband who had sickness bug. They allowed him in his room 9am so he could go to bed and allowed us to stay till 1pm the next day.. so we only had to walk across the road to train station to get home. We were incredibly grateful for the way the hotel treated us. Totally recommend.

"Overall, nothing wrong with the place. Its clean, comfortable and reasonably priced."
Terrific location for a trip to Liverpool. So easy to get to as the airport bus leaves you off literally across the street. Staff were very good and very helpful and pleasant. Pretty good standard of hotel and what you would come to expect of a Premier Inn. Stayed in the Premier Plus rooms and they were good with your own tea and coffee facilities. Nice and quite overnight but a bit dark just due to the shape of the hotel and angle of the small windows in them. In the main pretty happy with the room, but like most places could benefit from a bit of a touch up here and there. Main disappointment was the bar/dining area that felt very cafe-ish and in bad need of a makeover! Disappointingly, they had a hotel-wide drinks promotion advertised/on display. It was sitting on a portable Coors Light draft dispenser. Didn't have any of the two draft beers, including Coors, in that hotel that were advertised on the promotion. Just bottled beers available.
