"Good location"
Excellent location for centre of Bath, but also very quiet. Clean, but decor a bit tired (this seems to be the case for most now). Staff lovely and friendly and helpful - female receptionist on checkout was super (sorry didn't get your name)! Had dinner at the attached Bar & Block for convenience which was excellent with lovely Sam for our waiter. One strange issue was the voiles in the rooms which did not fully cover the windows so curtains had to be kept closed for privacy - bizarre and unusual!
"Mostly great, great friendly staff decor and cleanliness not up to standard"
The staff are fantastic. Couldn’t be more helpful and kind even lending me a phone charger when I forgot mine. The restaurant and staff there were great too. Overall it’s not a bad thing lace to stay I’ve certainly stayed in worse places but having stayed at many premier inns the building fell short of the standards I have experienced in others the decor needs updating and there was dust behind and underneath the bed which has clearly not been cleaned for a while. There was a musty smell in the corridor in the morning that was not pleasant. The reception and restaurant were clean and welcoming but the room I felt was not up to standard
"Average visit nice staff"
Good location and friendly staff on the desk. Sadly décor looked tired and the room had lots of scuff marks in the bathroom and main bedroom. The bed itself was ok. I parked in Avon street car park but don’t bother if you can avoid it as I came back to three car length scratches down the passenger side. Menu looked expensive but guess that doesn’t matter if you are getting work to pay and I didn’t try breakfast on this occasion.
"Tatty"
The place is in need of a revamp very pricey for what you get bar was closed Sunday at 9pm so had to go out elsewhere for drinks in total fairly poor wouldn’t go back unless it was completely overhauled
"Below par for Premier Inn"
Stayed here for one night. Most of the Premier Inn's we've stayed at have had light/bright rooms like the one in the 'standard' picture but the room I had felt was dark and dingy and akin to a very low 3 star hotel. Very small TV. I really thought that the room needs modernising and brightening up. It was 'worn'. It's in a great location so you can pop out for coffee/breakfast in the morning and retire from evening activities without much effort but I wouldn't stay here again.
