    "Best Premier inn we’ve visited"
The best Premier Inn I’ve stayed in. Loved the fact it was so central and it is housed in the former tobacco warehouse. Most other Premier inns are new and modern with each room being the same. I can maybe understand some of the previous comments if this is what you’re used to. We appreciated the quirky rooms . Would have loved to have had an opening window but appreciate for safety and the aesthetics of the grade 1 listed building it may not be possible in every room. Friendly helpful staff. We didn’t eat here because of the wide range of coffee shops and restaurants in the area but we didn’t eat here have drinks in the bar. Suggest if you want a taxi to download UBER app. There is a phone in reception to order a taxi but it took a while to come.
    "Brilliant location!"
We stayed for 3 nights and were very happy with the location and value for money. Note that car parking is a fair walk away if you have heavy bags.
"Avoid -especially room 150 which is a prison cell"
Avoid if you expect any form of customer service-atrocious attitude Arrived at hotel (after paying for family to stay in three rooms only a week before) at 1pm and elected to leave our luggage again with a donation to GOSH. Arrived back at 3:15 to check in to our two rooms to be given an adequate one for our children and one that can only be described as a prison cell for us. No external window. No natural light. No air conditioning…weak fan. As I started to have a panic attack in such a claustrophobic environment, we attempted to get an alternative room and we offered to pay any upgrade if necessary. Was treated with such distain that I was taken aback. Apparently the staff are not authorised to deal with valid complaints by offering to move their customers to a reasonable place. They refuse to accept any complaints and said that their manager would say the same! We had just arrived in Liverpool after 3 nights at a premier inn in Chester where any requests were dealt with courteously and swiftly. Courtesy at this accommodation is non existent and in future so will our custom. We were not particularly happy with our room (143) the previous week as we paid for a view (moot point) plus the 24hr security light outside was annoying but at least that had daylight.
    "Great stay"
Just back from a lovely 2 night stay.We haven’t stayed here for a number of years and although agree it needs updating it didn’t stop us having a good stay.We had room 225 overlooking the dock and it was very clean and cool despite the warm weather but a fan was in the room if you needed that too.Mel on reception was so friendly and helpful. In fact all the staff were all nice and we could not fault the breakfasts and dinner in the restaurant. We will definitely return.
    "Good stay"
Great time for the family, we only came for a trip to the shops in the local area but the staff we very inviting and we’re willing to help solve any problems we may have. Wifi worked like a charm and the room was also spotless. Only thing was that the TV had blocked our firestick which was a bit of a let down but i would definitely recommend.
