"Needs overhaul."
This is a small 20 room hotel. The check in assistant was friendly and efficient. The room was tired, floorboards creaked, mirror edges were worn, toilet did not flush properly, overall appearance was in need of refresh. As at many other Premier Inns, footsteps could be heard from room above. I find this a lot in Premier Inns, but have not experienced it anywhere else. Evening meal was adequate for microwaved food. Breakfast at this hotel is not buffet style but supposedly freshly cooked. I was warned that it would take 20 minutes to cook. I went for breakfast early while it was still quiet (only 2 other tables waiting for breakfast) Food came out after 15 minutes and was hard and dry - it was obviously not freshly cooked but pre-cooked and left on hot plate. The hash browns were chewy, and I suspect re-heated. One woman was working in restaurant both evening and morning, seating guests, taking orders, serving food and clearing tables, so service was not exactly quick, even when restaurant was quiet.

"Friendly and comfortable in a great location"
A clean and comfortable hotel in a great location to both drive to, and then to walk into Wells city centre. There was plenty of parking when we arrived and we received a friendly welcome at check in. Our room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was tasty and the hot food was constantly refreshed. Will stay again if we are in the area.

"Overpriced"
Premier inn at Wells is totally overpriced just because it is in Wells, plus you have to pay for parking. I stay at Premier Inns all over the Northwest and are very welcoming, value for money, friendly staff and free parking these are the complete opposite to Wells so best avoid and stay at yeovil.

"Great hotel, very comfortable and lovely staff."
We have just spent a lovely weekend in Somerset staying in the lovely city of Wells. The hotel was a great base for exploring the local area including Wells, Glastonbury and shopping at Clark’s village. The Premier Inn Wells was in a great location with plenty of parking, comfortable rooms, value for money including the daily breakfast. The staff were very helpful, knowledgable about the local area and went above and beyond to make our stay very enjoyable. Special mentions for chef Ray, Sarah and Chanel who are great assets to the hotel.
