Wells (Somerset) hotel

Usual comfortable clean room and good healthy breakfast. But the parking cost a draconian £9.60 a day. That's overnight parking really because like most people, we were off doing things in the day. We didn't walk there, we didn't get the train there, so what do the hotel think we are going to do with the car overnight? They say"we don't own the car park" and they "discount" the rate guests pay. Not good enough. This charge, which came without prior warning to as to amount, put nearly ten percent on the price of our visit. Premier Inn can do better than this in "being there for their customers".

Lovely breakfast, throughout; very enjoyable Buffett, excellent customer service, Ray-One of the chefs, from the kitchen, was amazing, quality hospitality from the bloke! An a good laugh an PR skills also’ seems a very chatty & funny character-An a good cook also!

Perfect location for our weekend in Wells. Polite and welcoming staff, large room and very comfortable bed. Would stay again and would recommend.

We had a lovely stay. The staff were warm, welcoming and friendly, and the hotel was clean and tidy throughout. The location was fantastic and made everything very convenient. A special mention must go to the breakfast chef (apologies I didn’t get his name), who went above and beyond and was a pleasure to talk to. Nothing was too much trouble. We would happily stay again!

I stay at a lot of hotels for work and I’ve stayed at this particular hotel a few times now and I can honestly say it is everything you should expect. The rooms are always clean and tidy and the food is great. But the standout part for me are the staff. During this visit Karli was very helpful, friendly and a credit to herself and the hotel. She cannot do enough for you and she does not stop! I’ll definitely be staying here again when in the area.
