Premier Inn, the UK’s biggest budget hotel chain, came up trumps at the recent British Travel Awards 2012 (1st November 2012), beating off strong competition from the likes of Warner and RIU Hotels & Resorts for the much sought after and coveted, ‘Best Leisure Hotel Chain’ award.
The awards, celebrating a line-up of winning travel companies as voted for by the British public, named Premier Inn the ‘Best Leisure Hotel Chain’ - making this the third year running the brand has been victorious in the prestigious event.
The British Travel Awards are one of the largest and most definitive references for consumer opinion on UK travel industry performance and this 2012’s event saw voting tip the one million mark with more than 1,088,339 votes cast. This year’s win for Premier Inn marks the seventh British Travel Award for the brand, with other awards such as 'Hotel Chain’ and 'Best Business Hotel Chain’ in the trophy cabinet from previous years.
