We’ve been named market leaders in YouGov’s 2026 UK hotel rankings. Discover how Premier Inn hotels were voted best for Consideration and Value.

Exciting news! We’re proud to share that we’ve been named the “clearest all-round leader” hotel chain in YouGov’s 2026 hotel rankings.

Among UK adults likely to use a travel or leisure service in the next year, our Premier Inn hotels took the top spot with a Consideration score of 54.0%, a full 21 percentage points ahead of our closest competitor!

As well as ranking first among both business travellers and leisure travellers – with Consideration scores of 56.1% and 53.1% respectively – we were also recognised as the leading hotel brand for Value, with a net score of 48.7 according to YouGov’s BrandIndex data.

We were thrilled to see that our hub by Premier Inn hotels, with central locations in London and Edinburgh, feature on YouGov’s top hotel rankings too!

The YouGov article reported: “Premier Inn is the clearest all-round leader, sitting distinctly apart from the competitor set [...]. It ranks first for both Consideration and Value while placing second on Quality, a rare strength across both dimensions that is reflected in its No. 1 Consideration position”.

YouGov went on to note: “More broadly, the chart suggests only a weak relationship between perceived Value and Quality, with most brands tending to be more aligned with one of the two rather than both”.

These results really underpin our position as a clear market leader when it comes to UK hotels, and it’s great to see the consistency, comfort and value for money we deliver for millions of guests reflected in these YouGov scores.

So, from family getaways and UK short breaks to great-value stopovers and work trips in the city, you know what you’re getting with Premier Inn – market-leading hotels offering 800+ locations, super-comfy beds, and of course, a great night’s sleep.
