Donington Park

One of the UK’s leading race tracks, Donington has been dishing up high-speed thrills and spills for nearly a century. It’s hosted F1 races during its peak and is now part of the Superbike, Touring Car and F3 season, with races held most weekends from Spring to Autumn.

Alton Towers

The UK’s second most visited theme park, Alton Towers is a true British institution, with rides and areas to thrill everyone from toddlers and up. At just over 20 miles from the action, we’re perfectly placed to take in all the thrills and spills.


A buzzing city alive with music, theatre, sport, comedy and film, make sure trips to QUAD, Pride Park and one of its many excellent theatres are on your to-do list. Beyond that, the city has a lively music and comedy scene well worth checking out.

Getting around

Just 30 minutes’ drive from the city centre, East Midlands Airport provides excellent domestic and international connections, while the nearby M1, coupled with strong rail links, means Derby is a well-connected city.
