What is Premier Inn's cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or change your booking, please do so before 1pm on the day you are due to arrive. If you make your cancellation after 1pm on arrival day, you will be charged for one night's accommodation.

When you cancel your booking, we will give you a cancellation reference number. Please make a note of this number for proof of your cancellation.

If you have booked a room for more than one night and need to cancel your final night's booking, please do so by 12 noon on the day you want to depart.

If you've booked a Premier Saver the cancellation policy may be different to those outlined above. For full details, please check the terms and conditions of the Premier Saver you booked.

How do I amend my booking?

If you have booked a Flex rate, you can now amend your booking online. So if your plans have changed, you can amend the date of arrival, number of rooms and guests as well as choosing from our breakfast and dinner options. Simply click here and follow the instructions to amend your booking.

Alternatively you can call our Contact Centre on 0333 003 8101*, quoting your booking reference number. One of our advisors will be happy to help you. Lines are open from 8am – 10pm Monday to Saturday and 9am - 10pm on Sundays.

Please note: If you need to amend your booking on the day of arrival, this must be done by 1pm.

Important: If you have booked a Saver rate, you will not be able to amend your booking. Please check the terms and conditions of the Saver rate you booked for full details.

How do I make an online cancellation?

To cancel a booking with Premier Inn select the ‘View or Cancel booking’ option located in the top right hand corner of the website.

You need to know the booking reference number and enter either the bookers' surname or one of the guests' surnames.

Once you have cancelled your booking we will send you a cancellation confirmation email.

Important: If you have booked a Premier Saver you may not be able to amend your booking. Please check the terms and conditions of the Premier Saver you booked for full details.

How do I know that my refund was successful?

A message will be displayed on screen confirming the cancellation number and that the refund was successful. You will also receive a confirmation email and if necessary a refund receipt.

How long will it take for my refund to be processed?

We will cancel your booking immediately and process the refund. Subject to your card issuer, it may take several days for the funds to reach your account.
