Entertainment in Rugby
With over 100 events each year, Rugby Theatre is the cultural heartbeat of the town, with an all-encompassing list of performances including drama, modern plays, family shows and musicals. Originally built as a cinema in 1913, the space was converted into a theatre in 1949 and now acts as a dual-action space. It is still used as a cinema, showing all the latest Hollywood releases.
Located on Henry Street, a short drive from our Rugby North M6 hotel, there are plenty of nearby bars and cafés for pre- and post-show drinks and food, including Bacco Lounge and the Bank Street Bar & Restaurant.
Live music in Rugby
This 1860s building might not look like much from the outside but inside, Benn Hall hosts some of the town’s best arts, entertainment and cultural events. From musicals and pop music tribute nights to comedy events, live music and even wrestling, the town centre hall is one of the most active entertainment spaces in Rugby. A short walk north of the town centre, Benn Hall is located opposite Caldecott Park with plenty of nearby parking.
