    "Absolutely Horrible Town"
Cant understand the positive reviews on here, are they really staying in this hotel?? I have used Premier Inn many, many times and have 2 future bookings made with Premier Inn. I stay with Premier Inn because I have always been happy with the service and rooms. On my trip to Wales I had also stayed in Porthmadog which was absolutely lovely and would have liked to stay longer. The staff on reception in Rhys were very nice and helpful and the room we got was absolutely fine except for a fickle air conditioning system. But the property itself was disgusting so very dirty and smelly. The carpet in the halls looked and smelled like they had never been cleaned/vacuumed. The outside entrance smelled of urine, with rubbish and weeds everywhere. I had never been to this town and wish I hadn't gone there. It is so run down with many undesirables in area I felt very unsafe. This is not a very good location for this hotel and unfortunately I didn't check this before I booked as I have never had a problem with Premier Inn before. I think a lot of the issues with this hotel in its location and it seems that cleaning staff are not doing there job or there is not enough of them. I did speak to the receptionist to see if I could change the booking to another Premier Inn for the second night but he was unable to help and when I phoned the booking office it was closed. I am so very disappointed that this hotel was my last stay in Wales before the end of my holiday and it really left a lasting impression for all the wrong reasons.
    "Very bad"
Rhyl preimer inn crap hole, don't bother unless seriously desperate. I have stayed at a lot of preimer inns and they have been fantastic, this one is letting the side down. Stayed one night ,two adults and two children in a quad room, had one double bed which was made and one single which was not made, spoke to reception, thay apologised and said they will be straight up,one hour later two girls then up to change one single bed, didn't believe use with not having enough beds, to there shock we were wright. They apologised again and went, one hour later no bed, I went to reception again,no one their, waited 15mins no one their, went to the restaurant and found one employee slumped in the corner, on his phone, spoke to a nice lady behind the bar about our problem, she spoke to the slumped boy with attitude and he stormed off, she told me we might have to change your room or fined u a bed, this is now about two hours after we checked in and reported this issue, I think we were being forgotten on purpose. With gritted teeth I said ok, she informed me she would let me know straight away. 30mins later a knock at the door, little attitude boy storms in with a bed and storms out, leaving the young lady to make the bed in a very uncomfortable situation. We would understand if we had early check-in, we didn't,we check in about 7pm. Lazy, rude staff should be ashamed.
"Good location for Rhyl - and you know what you'll get at Premier Inn"
Good, central location in Rhyl for us as we walked along the Wales Coast Path. Friendly staff, Decent room. Good breakfast.
    "Had a lovely time "
Had a lovely time so far here, very clean and tidy when we arrived, we had a lady called Libby clean the room (she left a card). The only issue we can think of is that there was a fire alarm test, we wasn't informed about this and we rushed to get out, when we saw a member of staff, we had to ask if it was just a test or not and he informed us it was only a test so didn't even need to go out of our room
    "Not great"
The duvet was too heavy on the double bed making it too hot to sleep under and too cold to sleep without it. The duvet on the single bed was too thin for my daughter so she was cold and the pillows were uncomfortable.
