"Very good York hotel"
Very nice hotel, clean & tidy. Staff helpful & friendly. Breakfast was great too. Good location for York attractions. Hotel parking is limited but there are other options nearby. Would definitely stay there again.
"Elijah and the staff are fabulous!"
What a fabulous hotel! Very clean and modern. So close to Yorkminster and The Shambles and some lovely pubs. We ate at the hotel in the evening and for breakfast. The food was very good and the service excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for the manager or the staff. They were very very busy but always had a smile and they were very efficient, the manager even took the time to give us some tips on places to visit in the area. Our special thank you though has to go to the Chef Elijah (apologies if I haven't spelt his name correctly), he is an absolute diamond and a credit to the hotel. Every morning he would greet everyone with a smile and a hello. He kept the food coming well cooked and nice and hot, and even cooked some sausages well done as that's how our friend likes them and delivered them himself to our table. Please please take care of him he is a superstar along with the others. We will be visiting again soon much love Tracy and Stuart Beecham Room 318 xx

"Clean comfy hotel with a fabulous location"
Great location, managed to get a car park space, good size but very busy. Only minutes walk away from the Shambles. Staff really friendly. Had the upgraded room, it was lovely great size and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very busy at 9am but expected this. Will definitely stay again next time in York.
