    "3 night stay"
    We have been visiting this particular premier inn for 12 years, it's in a brilliant location and always have great amenities. We haven't been for 4 years but returned for a 3 night stay this week. Unfortunately we were disappointed and think it will be our last stay here. The location is great, the rooms are still comfortable and clean but everything was tatty and in need of some TLC. The pub and restaurant was a let down on this visit, again everything was tatty and breakfast was a little chaotic. Cups and plates running out, cutlery still looked like it needed washing and having to wait for either bread or food to be replenished. Unfortunately not the best stay.
    "Bad night"
    Had a bad experience trying to sleep. This was due to the premise of having a single sheet as a bed cover. The weather was inclement and as such did not have a peaceful night due to the cold weather.
    "Has potential"
    Arrived at 6:30 pm, staff on reception were friendly and helpful, unfortunately one of our rooms only had one double bed made up and this was for one adult and two teenagers, luckily another room was available but after a long journey you don’t want to be inspecting rooms and hanging around in reception with a queue behind you. Even though this hotel is in need of some TLC the rooms were clean and very comfortable, the hotel has plenty of parking. I would give it 4* I’ve deducted another star simply because of the breakfast, there was just one young girl booking us in and showing us to the table and also tidying up, until what look like a restaurant manager turning up at 8:30am after most people had eaten to assist this poor girl. The cereal, juices, fruit salad and croissants were just empty containers which were only replenished as we were leaving, making it a very disappointing meal.
    "Worst premier inn experience"
    We always stay in Premier Inn's when away as a family and are never disappointed. However this is a first. We did have a lovely welcome from a lovely lady on reception, although that was really where the positives ended. Room was very very hot, felt dirty, plug stuck in sink, the breakfast was AWFUL and the restaurant staff even worse. Extremely rude and unfortunately, incompetent. Other than check in we did not see anyone else on reception, which is a shame. We will not be staying here again. We do not recommend. We spoke to several other guests who all agreed this was a terrible experience.
    "Double booked room"
    Well, booked online, turned up at 8pm to pick up my key card and I went straight out and left my suitcase in the car. Returning at 11pm, I unlocked my door and walked in to be treated by a screaming mother and child in bed. Staff at the hotel were rude and unhelpful and failed to grasp the gravitas of a man walking into a mother and child's room at 11pm!
