    "Not all heroines wear capes, some wear a Premier Inn uniform"
    Picture this, I'm volunteering locally at the DIY SOS for Children in Need, after a long day I check into my hotel and when going into my room I'm greeted with a huge spider on the wall. As an autistic man who is not only terrified of spiders and clearly not caring about being proud or cool, I ventured to the front desk and asked the lovely member of staff working overnight if she had anything that could help me catch this Brobdingnagian monster. Emma (who was so kind, friendly and genuinely a superstar throughout) came to my room, stood on a chair and helped me catch it in a moment that was definitely uncomfortable for her too. Now, I get a great nights sleep and don't need to worry about any of my limbs being eaten during the night. Honestly, what Emma did was above and beyond, I was fully expecting a "no" or some contraption to help but I've genuinely never seen such incredible customer service and honestly, whilst she saved my life, she did it with a smile too. What more could you want from a hotel?

    Absolutely disgusting my husband is disabled and his mobility is vary poor and was still made use the stairs for our room also hair in the sink and towels was very dirty and stained and bed sheets was stained

    After a slight delay at reception - I had the impression that the staff cover a number of roles - I was checked in by a friendly and helpful young woman who gave me all the information I needed. The room was perfectly clean, not huge but sufficient for a solo traveller; the bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom equally clean with an excellent shower. I had dinner in the restaurant where the service was efficient and friendly and the food excellent, certainly better than I had expected. Breakfast was cooked to order and entirely satisfactory. Good value all round.

    We have stayed here many times and were aware of the change of restaurant details. We asked about the meal deal on booking in and were told to ask later as reception was busy. Told you don’t have to book a time to eat. This was at 3pm. At 6pm we were about to go to the restaurant and nothing was said by the receptionist BUT I then noticed a typed sheet of paper saying there was no food tonight !!! “Oh you can go eat at the pub down the road” was the phrase. I am diabetic and disabled - total disregard for the customer. Told it’s a 5 min walk in fact it’s 0.6 mile or 15 mins walk if I was fully fit

    Attentive staff, especially the young lady on reception when we arrived. Ample parking. Great breakfast as much as you can eat that was cooked to perfection.
