"Lovely location and friendly staff"
Myself and my 8 year old had a lovely relaxed stay at hockley heath premier inn. The staff we encountered were all friendly, helpful and attentive. Special mention to Kate on reception who really went the extra mile for my daughter which made her stay here extra special and memorable so a big thank you to her. Charlotte and Coral also stood out with their friendliness , all 3 staff evidently work very hard and are an asset to premier inn. We will definitely stay again in the future. Breakfast was lovely and always fully stocked, fresh and hot option cooked to order. Room was cleaned when requested and location was perfect. Car park spacious and never struggled to get a space when had been out for the day
"Fantastic"
A friendly welcome, spotlessly clean room which was very modern. Location is prefect with plenty of parking spaces. Adjoining restaurant was good but could do with rebranding to current use.
"Great stay"
Quiet, comfortable, clean and friendly staff - excellent! We had continental breakfast, which was plentiful, varied and tasty. Staff were very helpful and welcoming.
"Worst Premier Inn eve"
Falsely advertised as with Aircon just to be told that was not the case as only their premierplus rooms had them. Room was roasting to the point where kids wanted to return home. We ask for another room or change the broken fan, Kate the manager made to efforts to resolve the issue. The morning breakfast was even worse, they only had one person (Charlotte) managing the breakfast session. Milk ran out of the coffee machine, wait time was crazy while they only had one bar operating with the remainder of the restaurant was closed. The selection of pastry of also very bad...do not stay here.
"Very unhappy with service"
We got a friendly reception on arrival but they were unable to give me a room on the ground floor, as I have lung cancer and problems breathing. We were given times for evening meal and breakfast, we did not eat untill 9.15 but we were booked in for 8 o clock, the breakfast was a shambles their was no fruit, no pancakes and the cooked breakfast was dried up and cold and we were booked in for 8.30 plus my husband got covered in blackcurrant juice as the lid was not put on properly and no staff came to help and no apology was given. All we had was toast which we were looking for a hot breakfast and we took the meal deal which is maybe why we got this service. I would recommend noone take this deal and go down for breakfast as early as you can when the food is cooked first thing in the morning.
