Premier Inn has been confirmed as the leading Economy brand in the JD Power European Economy Hotel Guest Satisfaction Survey for 2008.
In the Economy Segment for 2008, Premier Inn ranks highest with a 720pt index score (72.0%), with an "among the best" score in Overall Satisfaction, Reservation, Check-in/-out, F&B and Cost, ahead of all competitors. In particular, customer satisfaction in the economy and mid-scale full service hotel segments has increased considerably since 2007, driven primarily by improvements in the hotel facilities. 2008 marks the second year in which satisfaction has improved in the economy segment.
The 2008 Study shows Premier Inn ahead of other budget hotel chains including Travelodge (67.6%), Etap (67.9%), Comfort Inn (67.8%) and Formule 1 (63.5%). However, Premier Inn also scored above Best Western, Express by Holiday Inn, Campanile, Quality, Ibis and Park Inn who are all in the Mid-Scale segment for the 2008 study.
