The Premier Inn Zzzoovet

Office working is a bit different at the moment, with many of us adapting how we work so we can keep things running from our bedrooms, spare rooms, kitchens or home offices. Working from home is all about staying professional whilst enjoying your favourite home comforts, but we know that sometimes it’s hard to find that perfect balance...

As such, we have been working closely with The Sewing Rooms, a social enterprise in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, to create a unique item that will give you all the joy and comfort of working from your bed, whilst giving you a professional appearance on video calls like Zoom...introducing, our new Zzzoovet.

In fact, our most recent research revealed that a massive 65% of Brits admitted to only properly dressing their top half when working from home! The nation has embraced working in comfier clothes in a big way, with over a third (38%) saying they think wearing comfier working clothes helps them work more efficiently, and 1 in 5 of us saying they wish more casual clothes like pyjamas were acceptable in the office.

The Zzzoovet has been designed with two specific principles in mind – providing warmth and comfort (to our exacting top tier standards), whilst delivering a truly professional appearance on work calls.

The Zzzoovet went through a few rounds of development before the perfect design was settled on. The final version is comprised of a wraparound duvet with a special fastening so it can be adjusted to fit most wearers, and comes with either a smart white buttoned shirt or a sweatshirt, giving the wearer a completely professional appearance whether they need a more formal look or when a more relaxed appearance is called for. The Zzzoovet wearer looks set for the office from the waist up but their outfit transforms into a 10.5 tog microfiber duvet from the waist down, off-screen and out of sight of the laptop camera.
