Westfield Stratford

West Ham football club’s stadium is now based at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park so come match days, the surrounding area, public transport stations and shopping centre itself might be a little busier than normal. Just be aware of this before you start your trip around the shops as the restaurants and bars could also be slightly more packed out too.

Layout and facilities
Spanning 5 floors, you’ll find the biggest names in the retail game all here. With John Lewis, Waitrose and Marks & Spencer manning the North and South ends, you’ll find the main Food Court on the Lower Ground level. Coffee shops, juice bars and confectionery shops are dotted all over and on the Second Floor there’s a few more chain and casual dining restaurants available right next to the VUE Cinema and All Star Bowling Lanes.

There are both standard and accessible toilets on the First and Lower Ground floors as well as lift access to all floors and all three car parks. Five-star services include a hands-free shopping experience where a concierge will come and collect your bags as you carry on dipping in and out of the shops, a cloakroom, children’s playroom, state-of-the-art parents’ room and a multi-faith space.

Shopping
High Street hoarders and professional bargain hunters can shop ‘till they drop in not one but over 250 of their favourite shops. From Reiss, Cos and Zara to H&M, Urban Outfitters and Office, you won’t be disappointed with the back to back options for your new wardrobe. Got a little more cash to burn? Mulberry and Tommy Hilfiger await just as Pandora, Ernest Jones and Accessorize cover all your bling bases. There are plenty of makeup, skincare and stationary hot spots to enjoy too as well as heavyweights Topshop, Next and John Lewis.

Bowling 
American-style All Star Lanes bowling alley is the branch’s biggest site yet. With 14 lanes ready for a whole lot of rock and bowling, there’s also a super cool restaurant inside and cocktail bar serving all the classics and lots of American beer.

Cinema
Wanting to see that new Hollywood blockbuster everyone’s been talking about? Well want no more and book in a time to to see it at Stratford’s 17-screen, all-digital Vue Cinema. Whether you fancy a relaxing post-shopping movie or you’re planning to share popcorn with a Friday night date, this is the cinema to be go to and be entertained.

Casino
If you’re feeling lucky (or just want to try your luck), head to dizzy heights of the top floor to the UK’s largest casino - Aspers. Open seven days a week, 24 hours a day there’s gaming tables, electronic machines and poker tables galore. Roll dice again and you’ll find yourself at The Sky Bar complete with roof terrace with stunning panoramic views of the city and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Stadium. Just a reminder that Aspers is for over-18s only and remember to play responsibly.

Eating and Drinking
Keeping fuelled and hydrated is key when you’re whizzing in and out of the shops, so it’s just as well there’s a food court and range of restaurants, bars and coffee shops here to keep you fed and watered.

For cocktails, beers and your favourite tipples in the surrounds of an American-style diner, head to the bar at the All Star Lanes, you’ll be sure to have a fun and lively night. For a touch of sophistication, be poured a glass or two of something bubbly at Searcys Champagne Bar - don’t forget to enjoy some accompanying cheese! With a selection of 150 bottled beers, ales and stouts, Tap East is a brewery on the Lower Ground floor providing a menu from around the world.

Needing something quick and tasty? Keep to the Lower Ground floor area and you’ll find chicken specialists Bird, Shake Shack for hearty burgers and thirst-quenching milkshakes and the Caribbean Scene for a taste of the West Indies.

Take a seat and make a lunch or evening date of it with the family at a number of tasty restaurants. Jamie’s Italian has all the pizza and pasta perks while Rosa’s Thai Cafe does one of the tastiest Thai green curries in town. Head out into the precinct and enjoy Mexican-style tapas at Wahaca or better yet, staying at our Premier Inn hotel nearby?  Our Thyme restaurant has a menu full of favourites including our sharing platters, mac n cheese and famous burgers.

Getting to Westfield Stratford
If you’ve got a long day of shopping ahead of you and expecting to fill your car boot with treats, driving to the Westfield Stratford is a great shout as it has ample car parking spots. Alternatively, public transport is simple and easy whether you’re on the bus, rail, tube or DLR.

By car
With over 4,500 car parking spaces spanning 15 levels, you’ll find a spot to park your wheels before your shopping spree. Using postcode E20 1EJ, you can reach the shopping mall from the Queen Olympic Park too. Parking costs differ from weekday to weekend with a minimum of an hours’ car parking costing £2.70 seven days a week, over two hours £6.50 on weekdays and over three hours £9.50 on weekends.

By bus
Coming into Stratford City Bus station on Montfichet Road, Stratford Bus station over the Town Centre Link Bridge and Stratford International Bus Station, there are number of buses you can jump on and off of. These will take you into the centre of town, further east, north-east and Essex way too.

By tube
Found on both the Central and Jubilee line, Stratford station is easily accessible. There are also DLR stations at Stratford and Stratford International, both of which are in zones 2 and 3. Plus, direct services run from Stratford to Richmond and Stratford to Clapham Junction on the Overground line.

By bike
Feeling active? There are over 500 parking spots for bikes on the lower ground floor, Westfield Avenue, Montfichet Road and The Street. If you don’t have your own bike and needs to hire one, Santander docking stations can be found nearby at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and on Montfichet Road.
