FAQs
Definitely! Whether you’re a die-hard Chelsea supporter, a football fan in general or just curious about London’s sporting culture, Stamford Bridge is a great stop. The stadium tours take you behind the scenes into the changing rooms, players’ tunnel and press areas, while the museum gives you a real sense of the club’s history. Even on non-matchdays, it’s a lively place to explore with restaurants, pubs and a buzzing atmosphere.
The closest station is Fulham Broadway on the District Line. From there, it’s just a five-minute walk to the stadium. If you’re coming in from further out, West Brompton and Earls Court are also within walking distance, making it easy to reach from most parts of London.
Stamford Bridge is best known as the home of Chelsea Football Club since 1905. It’s hosted countless Premier League and European matches and for fans it’s a bucket-list ground to visit. Beyond football, it’s also a well-known London landmark with a reputation for being one of the capital’s most iconic sporting venues.
The stadium can hold just over 40,000 spectators, making it one of the larger football grounds in London. While it’s not as huge as Wembley, it still delivers an incredible matchday atmosphere and feels very close to the action.
