London Kensington (Olympia) hotel

We had an extremely pleasant and comfortable stay here whilst there was a heatwave. The lobby was lovely and cool to walk back into and the room also had good air conditioning. The man at the desk was always very welcoming and friendly The bed was comfy and the room extremely clean. Couldn’t fault it

Stayed for three nights. Room service and housekeeping were good, and the two ladies who looked after us during breakfast were brilliant and very attentive. The guys in evening who assisted us with dinner throughout our stay were also very helpful and provided excellent service. However, both the breakfast and dinner quality were below the standard we expected. The presentation and overall quality of the food were disappointing. Considering the amount we paid for breakfast and dinner, we expected much better. The quality and consistency of the food was the main drawback,otherwise pleasant stay.

My recent trip to London was a fantastic experience and a reminder of why the city remains one of my favourite destinations. From the moment I arrived, there was a real energy about the city, with its mix of history, culture, business, and entertainment creating something unique. The highlights included exploring Covent Garden and Soho, both packed with great restaurants, lively atmosphere, and plenty of character. The food scene was exceptional, with everything from casual dining to high-end restaurants offering outstanding quality and service. London’s transport network also made it easy to move around the city and make the most of a short stay. I was particularly impressed by how vibrant the West End felt, with theatres, bars, and restaurants all busy and creating a real buzz throughout the evening. Despite being one of the world’s largest cities, London still manages to feel welcoming and accessible. The accommodation was comfortable and well located, allowing easy access to many of the city's main attractions. Whether travelling for business or leisure, London offers something for everyone. Overall, it was an enjoyable and memorable stay. I left already looking forward to my next visit and discovering even more of what the city has to offer.

I chose this hotel based on curb appeal and price, and booked a premium room. It was perfect for us. I was concerned that the busy road would disturb us but the room was pretty sound proof and no issue at all. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Only a 5 minute walk to the tube station meant we could get anywhere in the city easily. There are many restaurants within a short stroll, including our favourite one in London, the Orjawan Lebanese restaurant. Easy walking distance to a Tesco, a laundromat, Kensington High Street and Kensington Palace. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London looking for reasonably priced, friendly accommodations.

I stayed at this hotel and found the location excellent. It was very convenient for transport links and the tube station. Elli at reception was very friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. There was also another staff member with curly hair and glasses who assisted us with dinner and upgraded our booking to a meal deal. Unfortunately, I didn’t get his name, but he was extremely helpful and provided great customer service. The only downside was the food quality. Compared to other branches, the meals served here were of a much lower standard and did not meet our expectations. Apart from that, the staff and location were excellent, and we had a pleasant stay overall.
