"Excellent location, lovely rooms, very comfortable bed, very nice English breakfast"
Hassle free checking in and out. Excellent location. Friendly staff, buffet breakfast was really nice, very comfortable bed, decent size spotless room. The free bag drop on checkout was really handy due to our mid-afternoon train journey allowing us to explore Central London without having to drag our cases around. Definitely a 10 out of 10 from us.
"Excellent Value for a central London stay"
Perfectly located a short (5 min) walk from Kings Cross / St Pancras Station on the Euston Road. Upon entry there are 2 lifts to the first floor where you can check in, or stairs if you prefer. The decor in the lobby / social areas are very stylish with plenty of space for seating. You can either check in at the bar or use the self service kiosks. The corridors to the bedrooms are operated by your key card for an extra layer of security which is reassuring. Bedrooms in the Premier Inn are all of a high standard, spacious and surprisingly quiet given we were in a central and very busy location! Very grateful for the air conditioning given we were during a heatwave! Room was clean and well made up. We were also really pleased to find that there was an area in the lobby where you could collect additional pillows, towels, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, extra teas, coffees and milks which is very convenient. Overall an excellent stay.
"Excellent location and very good room."
The hotel is very convenient for Kings Cross Station, it’s a five minute walk up the road. It felt very safe, which was good as I was travelling alone. The room was spacious, comfortable and had air con, which I was very glad of! Good shower and comfortable bed. It wasn’t cheap, but for London prices, wasn’t too bad. They do charge for the decent wi-fi and the food service at lunchtime was a bit slow. Food was fine though and breakfast was well organised and plentiful. You know what you’re getting with a Premier Inn and this was exactly what I needed for a weekend away to see a concert.
"Helpful frontdesk"
Family of 3 checked in late evening and found that the agent wrongly booked a room for 2 adults, missing the kid. Fortunately Courtney from frontdesk with the manager tried hard and eventually found a room that can accomodate us. Not that easy in a fully booked night. Thanks a lot!
"Adequate."
We booked a premium room. It was a decent size with a comfortable bed, fridge and coffee machine. Some hangers but no drawers for clothes. It was a large double room but only one small and one large towel were provided between the two of us. Apparently this is hotel policy. We asked for more towels. The first “extras” offered were threadbare. Don’t get me started on the appalling “self service” check in machines. Making them bright pink does not make them any more user friendly. No one could make them work. A very kind barman was acting as receptionist. In fact, the staff were delightful. Common cause in the face of adversity? There are lockers in the “reception area” for luggage storage but they are too small for all but some shopping and a handbag. There is a luggage store - again wholly inadequate and all credit to the poor employee having to climb over bags. During our stay, the ceiling in our room started to sag and looked in danger of collapse. We informed the hotel who sent someone to take a photo and that was that. If you are placed in room 601, remember your hard hat. Very convenient for St Pancras.
