"very nice hotel"

nice and quiet place/ easy access from the motorway/ perfect for rest after a long day / very basic/ small cosy rooms / very nice and friendly staff/ absolutely delicious food and drinks for a nice price

"Tried and Run down. Relaying reputation a little to much"

Stayed here mid October 2023 for 2 nights for a training course locally. Hotel is very tired and run down. Rooms are clean as is bedding and bathroom. But rooms are very tired. Bed was damaged around base and desk laminated edging was coming off. Bathroom had mold and sealant was very grubby. But the staff as normal where very good. As title. The whole hotel is very tired inside and out. And my issues might only be minor. But they are first impression and they tend to stick. If you've travel a few hours to get there and the first thing you see is tired building and a litter filled car park you think the worse.
