"No food"
Just arrived after 244 mile journey to be told I cant eat at the hotel. If you pay nearly £100 for a room (1 person) you dont expect to be refused a meal. Very poor. No consideration for residents over outside guests. Why didnt I book. Because I had no idea what time I would get here.

"SORT THE RESTAURANT OUT!"
This place just gets worse. I still regularly use Premier Inn, but not for much longer. This one particularly cause nothing but angst. Have previously had issues with food coming out too quickly- not having enough time to get even half way through your starter before the main lands in front of you. Then came the inflexibility of the meal deal (ok, that may be HO policy, but at the end of the day, instead of a starter and main meal, I just wanted a salad and chicken breast , but they insisted on charging extra), and now they want you to do online check-in, or use the terminals in the foyer, but when you go down for dinner, despite the restaurant being half empty, they insist on a 45 minute wait be ause I didn't book (but was never asked to book). Am sick of this place, and am cancelling my next stay, and doubt if I'll be back.

"Very pleased"
Lovely stay, probably up there with one of the best stays I’ve had at premier inns and I use them quite a bit.
The only reason only given 4 stars is they are incredibly short staffed. They couldn’t accommodate breakfast properly, and it’s not the staffs fault - in fact so many people had to ask for things and it was stifling hot so customers a bit irritable, yet every member of staff I saw apologised and was so friendly and professional. But none the less- due to the amount of customers to ratio of staff, breakfast wasn’t the best.
For the rest I’d give 5 stars, the room was clean, spacious, and for once- the air con controls were self explanatory and you could adjust comfort (I always find this issue a let down at other premier inns)
We got the 58 bus into Cardiff, and an uber back- all very reasonable.
We found a secluded patch of grass round the back of hotel and walked to the local Lidl and did a picnic in the shade as was too hot for the pub garden (pub down the road was easy walking distance and we went the first night)
Car park was spacious and seemed very secure.
I’ll definitely be back (but probably won’t prepay for breakfast again and would rather walk to the pub for breakfast or grab things from Lidl)

"Great base for exploring Cardiff"
Friendly welcome. Plenty of parking at the hotel. Great base for exploring Cardiff - took us about 15 minutes by Uber to get into the centre. We had a Premier plus room on the fourth floor. Quiet location, clean and spacious.
Excellent buffet style breakfast, staff friendly and efficient.

"Great staff"
Booked two rooms online, and had an issue on arrival but the staff didn’t hesitate to make it right. Bags dropped off and headed to the bar for a pre dinner drink. Drink choice was ok and again the staff were really nice. During the meal service, we found everything to be good and need to single out Stacey who was just a really friendly, professional and beautiful individual. Thank you. The room 125 seemed clean though the shower silicone needs replacing as its just black mouldy spots which isn’t nice to see. I personally found the bed too hard and didn’t get a good nights sleep: i was clock watching every hour. But my daughter had a good sleep in her room.
Breakfast was the standard buffet choices of hot, and continental options.
Yes, i have mentioned issues, but the staff here make up for the issues
