    "Great value hotel, definitely recommend"
Great hotel, this is the second time we’ve stayed. A bit tricky to find but once you get there loads of parking! Rooms small but perfect for myself and a five year old. Food in the restaurant basic but nice… good deals on a meal and drink too. If you want to go out for food, quite a few restaurants a five minute drive away. Would definitely recommend.
    "Great staff team"
Checked in on Friday, the rooms are small but value for money is there. I was greeted and checked in by a lovely lady called Lindsey on reception who was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Later in the evening we got food and drinks also served by Lindsey who was working the bar & kitchen. Definitely a huge credit to Zip as she was serving food, checking in guests aswell as running around making sure everybody was okay. Would definitely have her as an asset to my own team if I lived local. Will definitely be returning in the future.

Perfect accessible room for graduation stay I stayed with the Zip team for five nights while I was in Cardiff for my university graduation, job interviews and some celebrations. As a wheelchair user, I could not fault the accessible room. There was ample turning space, a non-slip en-suite wet room with grab rails, shower seat and emergency pull cords. Everything was spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful. The reception and bar area was welcoming; you could order food and drink from the bar or bring in a takeaway if you preferred. Outside, the ramp had a sensible, gentle incline that made coming and going easy. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, especially as the accessible room was not priced higher than the standard rooms. Big shout out in particular to Ayesha – what a lovely and hardworking lady!
    "Prison cell"
What can I say about this hotel ? Not a lot usually you get what you pay for but this cost me over £400 for the smallest room I have ever had the pleasure of being in ! Yes it was clean but that’s where the good points end Two very small beds with a WC and shower on either side of door that someone a bit larger than your average person would struggle to use ! I had to get ready while my son waited outside as it was near impossible for both of us to do that at once Air con was so noisy and the pretend window hidden behind a blind didn’t open 🤣 Free parking was a bonus and cheap drink but I certainly wouldn’t recommend this unless you’re getting it for free
"Cheap and cheerful, does what it says on the tin"
Decent quality accommodation for a work stay over, it has what you need a bed, a TV and a shower. Rooms are basically "pods" They don't have outer windows but do have either a panel screen or a LED one where you can set the colour (bit of a novelty but does the job). Shower is fairly powerful all be it the cubicle is a bit small for chunky blokes. Rooms are nice and quiet at night and pitch black so good night's sleep, the bed is either two singles or push them together for a double. Obviously a basic room so no hairdryer or kettle but there's a bar downstairs where you can get a cuppa from. The bar does have offers on on 4 for bottles or a curry/pizza and pint for £10, limited menu but the food on it is off decent quality and no different from a "proper" Premier Inn. Only gripe this time was the price, obviously a "supply & demand" week due to graduations in Cardiff usually pay £30-50 but went to £88 this stay (still cheaper than the others but the rooms no different than what it was last time I stayed)
