Spread over 26 acres, it recreates the world’s first industrial landscape with historic buildings, costumed characters and old-fashioned trams and buses. If you enjoy a slower pace, take a wander through the pretty villages around Stourbridge, like Kinver, with its famous rock houses carved into sandstone cliffs, Churchill, Belbroughto or the scenic Clent Hills, which are perfect for a walk with panoramic views. The Stourbridge Canal is another highlight – follow the five-mile towpath, explore the impressive 16-lock flight near the Red House Cone and enjoy a stroll or cycle alongside the water. Art and culture fans can also pop into the Himley Hall and Park, a beautiful stately home with seasonal exhibitions and lovely lakeside walks, or the Broadfield House Glass Museum in nearby Kingswinford.
