"Comfy hotel but bad staff who lie. Keep hold of your things!"
The rooms were very comfortable and the location is good. Breakfast was lovely and only a few steps away from reception, the man at the brewers fayre was possibly the friendliest human being I've ever met! There was nothing too much for him to do for us he was wonderful! Wish I had gotten his name!
However there are never any staff at the desk? Every time we arrived we had to wait at least 15 minutes until someone came to the desk even when we had pressed the button to let them know we were there.
A small annoying thing (but slightly funny đ) was that we weren't told that there was construction happening directly outside of our room (& couldn't see when we arrived at night) so my mostly naked husband opened the curtains in the morning to find himself eye to eye with the builder on scaffolding outside our window đ
The most annoying part was that I accidently left my charger in the room (obviously my fault) we checked out 15 minutes early and left the card in the box as no one was on reception as soon as I got in the car I realised my mistake and sent my husband inside to see if he could either go back up and get it himself or if someone else could pop in and get it for us before our long drive home. They shockingly were at the desk for once but wouldn't let him upstairs because "the room had already been thoroughly cleaned ready for the next guests" I don't know what kind of thorough cleaning these maids can do in less than 5 minutes? They absolutely refused to go up or let us go up to check and told us to leave which we reluctantly did.
After finding their Facebook page I found out that multiple guests have complained about their items going missing or being told that they hadn't been left when they had. After emailing to complain a few days later I was told they had magically found it and I either had to drive back up to collect it or pay for them to send it back. Very frustrating.

"Expensive and no parking"
I stay twice a year at your Stourbridge Town Centre Premier Inn, and I choose it because it has a car park. My booking for one night cost ÂŁ170, this is an incredible hike in the price that I paid six months earlier, which was around ÂŁ120. For ÂŁ170 I expect to be able to park my car. I could not, because the majority of the car park was taken up by building works and was out of bounds. I had to then park my car elsewhere and find my way back to your hotel. You should state on your website that the majority of the car park is currently unavailable, and this should perhaps also be reflected in the price you charge. Both of which you did not do. Seeing as my stay was made extremely awkward, and I was charged a premium rate, one would like to think you might offer some sort of small refund or voucher as a gesture of goodwill. However, after contacting you, you thanked me for the feedback, admitted that you should have let customers know the car park was not available, yet offered nothing.
To admit that you are wrong in not letting your guests know that most of the parking isnât available and that many will be without a parking space is a huge error. One can stay in better hotels in Stourbridge, and which have parking, and for less than ÂŁ170 per night, so going forward I will now be looking to stay elsewhere. Premier Inn promotes itself as good value, however I would now strongly disagree. I do find it baffling that you arenât prepared to look after your regular customers - a small gesture of some form of discount on my next stay would have been appropriate given the circumstances.

"Weekend away for a panto"
Ideally situated for a 10 min walk into town centre. Chose to walk into centre as hotel has free parking for guest. Brewers fayre next door for dining options. We chose just breakfast which was value for money. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are as I expected for a premier Inn. very clean and comfortable. Bathroom clean nice hot shower.
