    "Too many issues with the room (and room service)"
    We have stayed in the premier inn Whitley Bay before without issue but on this occasion the experience was way below what we expected - and what we paid for. The front desk staff were lovely but we had numerous issues with the room…only two pillows - both hard - one bedside lamp not working - air conditioning switching itself off fully so the room was uncomfortably hot (it was 26.5 degrees at one point and the outside temperature was 17 degrees) - the toilet seat was loose - requested room service didn’t materialise. All in all out of 5 nights we didn’t sleep comfortably for one!
    "Poor value for money"
    Noisy rooms, mouldy bathrooms, uncomfortable beds and loud air conditioners. Poor value for money. However, staff were lovely and the sea view was gorgeous.

    Hotel in an excellent position by the seafront. Reception staff very helpful. Room spacious and clean as was ablutions. A couple of peaceful and comfortable nights. Third time at this hotel & look forward to returning.

    Been here a few times for breakfast ,I cannot fault it. Lisa met us and was so welcoming,making sure everything was good.She ordered black pudding for us and brought it over when it was done. The choice was so good ,everything was hot and as said before Lisa went out of her way to make sure we were all good. We will be back again soon im sure

    We went twice to our beloved Whitley Bay in the space of 3 weeks with my family and the first thing we always have is an absolutely wonderful welcome from Adele and her team. Adele especially is such a warm kind soul who will go the extra mile and always has a smile . The place is spotless and has everything you need for a fab stay. We will be back as soon as we can .
