"Very helpful staff"
We were transfered from the other Weymouth premier inn as their restaurant was being demolished so that was good of them as we needed an on site restaurant. Tegan sorted it all out for us and was very helpful. When we arrived our room wasn't ready but we went out for a walk and we were given a complimentary breakfast when we checked in. We also had a premier plus room . The restaurant catered for coeliac so that was very helpful. Staff couldn't do enough for us very pleased with the whole stay. Jill And David
"Great value for money great nights sleep"
Great nights sleep, clean room, friendly staff and plenty of car park spaces. I would stay again as was good value for money.
"Just Don’t"
None of the furniture in the room matched each other. There doesn’t seem to be any lift on the interior hotel. So if you’re disabled or elderly to the point you need help with stairs do not even bother booking here. There was lots painting going on that the smell of the paint was over powering. The hallways reminded me of a hospital ward or an old people’s home (see photos). Only good thing about the room was there were plenty of power wall sockets you could charge your devices with. And even a USB port with-in the socket. Fire extinguisher’s propping open fire doors, a complete violation of health & safety. Free parking was good, just remember to input the details of your car at reception. The Brewers Fair on site, well where do I begin. Old, ran down. Had items missing off the menu (seams to be theme with all on-site restaurants or pubs on Premier Inn Sites). This was the first one where there’s not been table service and so you have to queue at the bar to order with the other 4 people in front of you. Waiting for the one person who seams to be actually doing so work. Was told off at breakfast by a female who I’m guessing the manager, I stood to the side of the buffet hot food to get some black pudding as you couldn’t reach it from the front. She snapped and said “hey you can’t be stood there”. I politely said it’s because no one could reach it. She just rolled her eyes at me. And other customers noticed and said to me quietly that she must be having a bad morning. As a manager I don’t expect to be spoken to and be treated like that. The breakfast was okay, not really laid out with any care. You couldn’t help yourself properly as the heated counter was so hot, you couldn’t pick up the utensils to pick the food up with. Had to put 3-4 layers of napkins over my fingers to stop them being burnt. The coffee machine kept stopping coz it needed to be emptied, which after standing there for 3-4 minutes while the manager ignored it and got someone else to empty it. The other coffee machine was either broken or not even setup or switched on. Won’t be coming back that’s for sure. Even the other 2 people I was with agreed with me as they helped me write this review.
"Thank you"
Thank you to Laura in reception so helpful and kind. Be there weekly sins June 2/3 nights rack week. Restaurant staff including Andy thank you found me alternative menu after so many meals jacket spuds are so nice and well presented
"Good location, plenty of parking."
A good Premier Inn with rooms being as you expect for the brand. There is plenty of parking and the location is just a short walk from the seafront. You can easily walk into the town. Dining is at the Brewers Fayre reviewed separately.
