"“Great stay with excellent service from Duty Manager Sam”"
“We stayed at the Premier Inn Poole Centre (Holes Bay) and were very pleased overall. The location is perfect—right by Holes Bay with easy access to Poole town centre and the harbour. The hotel offers good value for money, and the breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of choice. The real highlight of our stay was the service. Sam, the Duty Manager, was outstanding—very professional, approachable, and extremely helpful throughout our visit. It made a huge difference having someone so attentive and willing to go the extra mile. The room itself was comfortable, although it did get a little warm at night as there’s no air conditioning (a fan was provided). A bit of updating would make the rooms even better. The restaurant service was good at breakfast, though dinner felt a little less consistent. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would happily return, especially knowing that staff like Sam ensure guests are well looked after.”
    "Horrible uncomfortable"
This hotel is tired and rundown, does not have air-conditioning,and your not informed of this, until you have booked and paid for your hotel.which then you can not cancel. But air con on reception??? Unbearable to sleep in a room with temperature like 27 for 4 days it was horrible. Bathroom had one of the lights and fan not working and the floor look like it could do with a good clean., also hall way look like it hadn't had a proper hover in days. The hotel is advertise as seaside location...its a lake that runs into the sea you can not get access to this because the pathway is closed due to road works, and you have a duel carriageway between the hotel and holes bay. Breakfast was ok, but for dinner we ordered medium steaks, we both had rare. Chicken wings just had bbq sauce on it, dinner was very disappointing. We set next to the family with the burger and the nachos issue and the cheff was very rude to her. See her review we set long side the family. No one wants cold nachos. There was no point in complaining. You can see staff was stretched. Natalie was brilliant polite helpful and frendly .dinning staff was friendly.
    "Very tired. Needs refurbishment."
On the positive side, the staff are friendly and try their best to help. The rest is negative I’m afraid. The rooms are awful. They had been cleaned but the headboard was stained and walls were badly marked. The electric heater was damaged and there was no air conditioning, so they had removed the duvet and just left the duvet cover. The reception is grim and really badly in need of refurbishment. There is a restaurant attached but when you search online there were no opening times, I believe this is because they open when they can, which wasn’t until after 4pm on the day we arrived. It’s cheaper than most places on the bank holiday weekend and convenient for the ferry but seriously manage your expectations if you choose to book.
    "Miserable"
Welcome to a very tired hotel. We were advised on arrival there was no air conditioning but there was a fan in the room. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to open the single window more than a few inches. The temperature in the room was 27 degrees overnight. We were unable to sleep. The bathroom was smelly (shower curtain) and the soap dispenser at the sink was broken. When I complained I was offered nothing other than thanks for letting them know about the issues. I find this practice impertinent.
"Dreadful dining experience, hot room and poor communication"
The dining experience is why I've one starred instead of two starring. Service was poor in the restaurant, the kids chicken burger was disgusting veiny amd fatty (as the picture shows), the curry had hardly any chicken in it. My wife ordered the nachos with chilli. Then some confusion as to whether they had chilli or not. after some back and forth with the kitchen waitress said they did have chilli... then a small plate of nachos arrived with no chilli. At this point the WARM plate of nachos was then taken away to add chilli. Then bought back out a few minutes later by which point they were cold and cheese dried. So Sent them back to be heated. Then a very rude chef came back out slammed them down and said we.dont usually heat them (of course you do...it was warm when it first came out and cheese melted) So restaurant was utter chaos, poorly managed, clueless chef, and worst food quality. Also no soap in toilets. It was so bad that we didn't go back for breakfast the next morning or morning after even though we had paid for it. Felt better to cut our losses than go through eating there again. Hotel itself is very dated. Despite having fans in the room and bringing our own as well, the rooms were too hot even though it was 22-25 degrees during the day. Difficult to sleep. Hardly any toilet roll in the bathroom. Was really disappointed that I couldn't get through to anyone at the hotel before our stay as I needed to change something. I tried phoning on 8 occasions over three days and (after navigating through the pointless virtual assistant) the phone just kept ringing until it dropped off. Emailed also and got a reply over two days later. Never got a reply to my email after that. Actual receptionists were very friendly and helpful in person and beds in the room were fine. Just spoiled by the awful restaurant and attitude of staff there, hot room, and being unable to reach anyone in advance
