Hatfield is just outside London, in the county of Hertfordshire. It’s about 20 miles north of central London and easily reached by train in around 25 minutes. It’s close enough for day trips into the capital, but still has a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere—ideal if you want to stay somewhere with good transport links but away from the city buzz.
