Hatfield hotel

The room had Soiled bedlinen. Flooded bathroom due to plumbing issues. Mould in bathroom and bathroom surpassed only by dirt. Booked a double room but only towels for one provided and despite asking no more were provided. Totally unfit for purpose as agreed by lovely staff who were unable to resolve issues. Have raised formal complaint with “Guest Relations” who , having acknowledged initial communication, have ignored the 3 weekly ones since in which I ve been requesting an update. Worst premier inn experience i’ve had and i’ve stayed in dozens over the years and they’ve been great, disappointed much!

A nice quiet hotel, the ongoing works did not affect our stay maybe because it was a weekend. Staff friendly Restaurant very good, apart from overcooked bacon seems to be the norm in premier inns. But as it was supposedly cooked to order had high hopes. But alas was the most overcooked I have been given. I did however ask for some fresh which was how it was supposed to have been. Stacey was apologetic and sorted it.

I usually stay here due to my business trips. The staff is very friendly and always welcome you with a big smile especially sabreen and Monika. Definitely recommended.

I was very disappointed with my experience. You expect a certain standard from a premier inn, and it did not deliver. The shower was extremely grimy, the floor was covered in fluff and dirt, and there were crushed mentos on the floor. There were also lots of spiders and flies. The window was very foggy, and we were woken up very early in the morning by a digger driving right past it. All i could hear all night was loud coughing, so I barely slept. The plug hole was also full of hair (before we even had a shower) and the bath mat was soaking wet. The water pressure on both the sink and shower was pathetic, and the lack of plug sockets was abysmal. Not even worst of all, there were crumbs in my bed (which had minimal sheets - I was freezing all night) and the room absolutely stank of sweat and must the moment we stepped in. I do not exaggerate when I say the air was so thick I could barely breathe and it made me feel sick. We had dinner in the restaurant, and there was a huge dead fly in my sister’s bolognese. Absolutely disgusting. I don’t know whether they just forgot to clean our room and chucked flies in the pasta, but it was a highly uncomfortable experience. Worst part was dropping my hairbrush down the side of the bed and having to put my fingers into the fluff and grime. Not planning on returning.
