It’s easy to spend a whole day here at a comfortable pace, with enough variety to keep things interesting.

Portishead got famous for two reasons – music and history. These days, the old working waterfront has been transformed into a lively marina with restaurants, art and waterside walks.

Not huge, but big enough that you can find everything you need. You can easily walk between the main spots, from the marina to the Lake Grounds, without it feeling to spread out. It’s just the right size for exploring on foot in a day.
