"Room pretty good - Restaurant sad"
Room and en-suite were good - size, condition etc.
What was disappointing was the restaurant - an adjoining 'pub'. I walked over for an evening meal and stood at the "wait here" desk for a couple of minutes before giving up. There were 3 or 4 other guests (solo or couples) sitting sadly at empty tables - no music - no atmosphere - so I went to a local supermarket and eat in the room with the TV. Could face a repeat in the morning so had my breakfast at McDonalds, even though I'd paid in advance.
I would come back here again - just would not plan to eat there.

"Poor sleep, won't be back."
Must be one of the worst nights sleeps I've had in a hotel. Pillows were advertised as soft, but felt more hard. 1 pillow would be too low, but 2 pillows would be too high. Even my friend who stayed in another room, said the same thing as me about the pillows and lack of sleep.
Breakfast was advertised as all you can eat buffet, but was made to order instead. 4 people were turned away from breakfast, as they hadn't pre-booked, even though me and my friend were the only people in the restaurant. Will definitely look for another rival hotel next year.
