"Woeful"

Besg word to describe this hotel is woeful. I was there one night in business and thankfully it was only one night. I was in room 9 which was downstairs. These rooms seem to be completely forgotten. Dirty and cold. To top it all, I got about 1 hours sleep due to the in room heater clanging all night. Every time it was turned off it came back on again 30 mins later. First time staying in a Premier Inn and can safely say it will also be my last.

We moved abroad from Cumbernauld and returned for a family visit. Only reason I have deducted a star is because of the refurb which is ongoing......only pastries and fruit for breadfast. That's fine as we have coffee and tea making facilities in the rooms. However, there are obviously some needy or greedy people who visited. My Husband watched a lady lift as much as she could carry out to her car as her party were checking out ....left nothing for remaining guests in the hotel. I realise this isn't the hotel's fault but a notice mentioning one of each item, per person, per room might stop this greediness/selfishness. Or alternatively, cater for the greediness or neediness of guests and have stocks for re-fill. I have to say tea, coffee, milk, sugar etc were kept well-stocked for guests to help themselves and use in their rooms. All staff - reception, cleaning.... were great, professional and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Hotel is close to amenities in the Town Centre (albeit the old part is very run down), so not a big deal re the fact there is no breakfast or eating facilities. It will be a great stoppage point, when the re-furb is complete. Cannot finish without mentioning the rooms in the Premier Inn...very clean, comfortable but most of all the beds/pillows are fantastic! Enjoyed our stay and have recommended to others. It is great value for money.
