Amazing Stay! I stayed at this premiere inn and it was absolutely fantastic. Rooms were lovely and the service from the staff was second to none. The room was spacious and incredibly clean. I was here for work and loved the location - close enough to the city centre but far enough out that it was quiet in the evening. The staff were fantastic! Very attentive and approachable - nothing felt like a hassle or too much. Big shout out to manager Jen - I live down south and he was on hand with great knowledge of Glasgow and places I could visit for culture along with great drinks and food establishment recommendations. Will definitely be back here. Thank you Jen and the entire team!
"Adequate but not the best"
No A/C very hot in the room although I did get a fan on request. Reception staff didn't seem to like her Job and wasn't friendly at all. Room smelt very musty and damp and hair in bathroom.
"Not great"
Upon checking in to the hotel, albeit we were there 50 minutes before check in, we were asked for an extra 15 pound in order to access our room. Most hotels will allow access to a room for free if there’s availability so I was shocked at this, especially when it was less than an hour before our time. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but that didn’t really matter as the hallways were noisy at night, there sounded like a party in a nearby room going into the early hours and there was running water in the pipes beside our room all night. This resulted in a less than adequate sleep and we left the hotel shattered from this. There was also only one towel in the room and when I went to reception to ask for a second one there was no one there, meaning we had to use a hand towel.
"A lovely stay."
A lovely comfortable room with a view. Our room wasn’t ready for us, so we were upgraded to Premium, it was so much nicer. I’ve always wondered what the premium rooms are like, we’re thinking of booking one next time.
"Good location"
Hotel as expected- clean, quite central, variety of food & drinks. Welcoming atmosphere. Employees were great and really informative, nothing was a trouble. Easy to get to get to merchant city & Bellahouston park where there was a concert/summer sessions. Tea & coffee in the room, extra milk etc down stairs, vending machines, optional breakfast at extra cost. Taxi phone available at reception.
