Directions:

We're a short walk from Edinburgh Waverley rail station. Take the Market Street exit via the main bridge and keep left onto East Market Street. The hotel will be on the right. From Royal Mile, turn onto New Street. Turn left onto East Market Street and the hotel will be on the left.

There is no on-site parking available at this hotel. Chargeable off-site parking is available at Waverley Station Car Park (Sat Nav: EH8 8BH) just a 2-minute walk from our hotel. Please remember to present your ticket to reception for your ticket to be validated with a 20% discount, £17 for 24 hours. There is a height restriction of 1.9m. Blue badge holders can park on street at the hotel free of charge. Alternative on street parking is also available and charges apply from 8:30am - 6:30pm Monday – Saturday and Sunday 12:00pm - 6:30pm.

"Great location to city centre and Royal Mile"
Great hotel with good location to Waverly train station and Airport bus stop as well as to High Street/Royal Mile where the meeting point of many guided tours met. Hotel beds and bedding are extremely comfortable. Rooms are clean and noise level is very low. Staff are friendly and accommodating however, given they are working in both the dining room and reception sometimes services are delayed. Stored our luggage for us. Continental breakfast just okay. We had breakfast a few times due to time commitments but feel it's is priced too high for quantity and quality.

Clean hotel with great location. Great value. 10min walk from the station. Spacious rooms and comfortable stay. Overall 5/5.
"Provided everything we wanted"
Premier Inns in Britain mostly provide pretty basic and reasonably comfortable accommodation for a decent price. We think this hotel matched that description for a three night stay, albeit the costs reflect the expensive nature of most central Edinburgh accommodation. The room was nothing too fancy but the Waverley station is very close by and many central Edinburgh attractions, including the castle, are within a pleasant 15 minute walk. We requested new towels from reception and they were provided. The staff were fine during our stay and we felt safe in the local area.
"First time I’ve been disappointed with a Premier Inn"
First bad review I’ve ever been compelled to write and the first time I’ve been upset with a Premier Inn room. Opted to try one of the “Premium” rooms given it was for a weekend I had a special event. The condition of the room however was less than I’d expect to be offered in a “Standard” room and instead put a dampener on the weekend. Ripped headboard. Doors on cupboards askew. Numerous areas on walls and ceilings where paint has peeled or chipped and multiple stains on skirting boards, bathroom ceiling, carpet and curtains.
"Our Scottish weekend away"
Good room, nicely located just a short walk to lots of restaurants and bars and shopping, over the road from the car park and Waverley Railway Station. Check out the road behind the hotel, has lots of shops on it.
