"Great wee hotel for a wee nights break or stop over when touring"
Wonderful wee gem of a good budget hotel. Wonder clean rooms and comfy beds. Breakfast was awesome and beer and cocktails were very reasonably priced. Right beside the harbour and nice outdoor sitting area when weather permits. Staff were very attentive. Carrickfergus castle right at your door step. Car park is massive so no worries about parking either. Will be back even just for a wee nights break away from it all. Well worth the money. Well done to all the staff.
"What is not to like?"
The room was large and clean with a shower over the bath. We had no noise from the corridor or other rooms. The staff were very friendly. The food and service were excellent. There is lots of free parking and the location alongside Carrickfergus castle is perfect. It is an easy drive to or from the ferry terminal in Belfast. What is not to like? We will definitely be back
"Terrible."
Terrible for business customers. The company i work for pre booked and payed with the company credit card but apparently wasn't authorised when I went to check in. Staff were very unhelpful when I tried to resolve the situation. Had to pay out off my own pocket. Will never use any premier inn again. Absolutely useless.
"Very welcoming hotel"
Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Made my birthday weekend very special and left balloons Easter eggs and a lovely card in the room for me returning from a day out. Everything was just perfect during our whole weekend visit. I would definitely recommend premier inn Carrickfergus
"Piss poor experience! Dreadful!"
Poor stay, blood stained sheets, duvet & duvet cover, no mugs or glasses, tv didn’t work, I asked three times for the room or bedding to be changed but nothing was done, I offered to clean the room myself and I just needed the clean bedding but unfortunately they wouldn’t even give me a clean sheet, absolutely appalling. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! Avoid like the plague. Room was absolutely boiling hot the “thermostat” didn’t actually control the room temperature so was very pointless to have it on the wall.
