"Helpful staff and convenient location for city centre made for an enjoyable stay."
We often stay at PI's and took up the discounted rate offer of 3 consecutive nights to be used by the end of September. Belfast is very flat around the city centre so it was an easy 7 minute walk to the hotel from where the 600 Airlink bus stops on its way in from the city airport. We had booked a Premier Plus Room and were on the top (8th) floor with a view over the city. Our room had a shower rather than a bath so that maybe worth enquiring about if it's an issue for you and the hand wash bottle by the bathroom sink was empty and needed refilling. The window opened a bit so we had no need to put the a/c on throughout our stay but on the downside it could be noisy with late night revellers on their way home in the early hours. Staff at the reception desk were very helpful with directions and transport links to get to the Titanic Experience and restaurant staff at breakfast were both very good with allergy information and gluten free options. There was only one lift working and we had been warned about this prior to our arrival but we rarely had to wait too long for it to reach the 8th floor. Bottom line - would we stay there again? - probably.
"Big Room for Improvement"
Great location . Worn out hotel in need of refurbishment. Not a welcoming feel off some members of staff & seemed very disorganised.Lift refurbishment causing problems & not informed until less than a week before visit - not acceptable
"They cancelled our room after we had arrived"
We turned up at this room at 8:30am to drop our bags off before going out for the day before check in and we waited 10 minutes for someone to come and help us to put our bags in and when they did they were very miserable and didn’t say anything to us. We went back at 3pm to check in and were immediately told that we couldn’t stay there. The lady told us that they don’t do family rooms and that we weren’t staying there. There was me (22) and my two cousins who are 16 and 14. I told her that was what I had booked and she was saying that we weren’t able to stay because the 14 year old needed a parent and me being 22 wasn’t enough and it didn’t matter how old I was she needed a parent there. When booking online the 16 year old is classed as an adult so she was saying that there needed to be 3 adults for 1 child. I asked her what needed to be done for us to be able to say and she walked away and came back 10 minutes later and just said she was giving us a refund. We were then able to book a room at the hilton and we explained what happened and they said that this is completely wrong and it doesn’t matter as long as someone over the age of 18 is there.
"Very badly treated as a guest"
Was told our room. Wasn't ready at 4pm, we came back later and told our room(PREMIER PLUS ROOM) had been let out to the occupants before us to stay another night so had no choice but to stay in a family room, not happy at all
"Customer service awful."
Awful customer service for check in. The woman was so cheeky saying we were far too early even know I already explained I was just looking to leave my bags off. She was really rude.
