Exit M1 at J37 and follow A628 (Dodworth Road) signposted to Barnsley. After approximately 1 mile take the second exit at the roundabout onto Shambles Street, the entrance to the car park is immediately on the left.

"Brilliant customer service."
Excellent service from Sam on arrival. We arrived a little early and allowed us to check in. Room clean, extra pillows and bed very comfy. Also changed our room location as cannot use lifts, just brilliant service! Great location for our visit too. Thank you.
"An enjoyable stay as always…"
I have stayed at this hotel many times now and always enjoyed the experience. The rooms are always spotlessly clean and on this occasion I noticed new shower heads had been fitted in the bathrooms which were much better than the previous ones. The reception staff are always friendly and engaging, and do their very best to make sure you stay there is as good as it can be. Breakfast was good - cooked to order, and plenty of cereals, toast, pastries, fruit and choice of beverages. The location of the hotel is excellent with bars and eateries literally on the doorstep, and the town centre is just a few minutes walk away, as is the railway bus station. Thoroughly recommend this hotel!!

Nice stay very local but late check in service was apolling if carpark lift out of service find own way to reception was answer we got

Kyle and his staff at the hotel were amazing. Asked for help and they were only too willing to help. Highly recommend staying here. Close to all local amenities and the hotel bar and restaurant are very good. Cannon hall is worth a visit as is Yorkshire sculpture park. Only a short drive from the hotel.
"A devastating trip made bearable"
Went to visit my brother in ICU staff were amazing, extremely kind and helpful, back down this week for his funeral and again staff went above and beyond. James Green is one of the very kindest most helpful people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is so helpful and has so much empathy for his costumers. He made a very difficult time easier for us all.
