"Give it a miss if you want decent wi-fi or a good breakfast"
Not a bad hotel (the bed was good) but don't go if you expect to use wi-fi (as almost everyone does) as it is totally inadequate. Clearly, this is designed to push you to buy a 'premium' wi-fi for £5/day. And the hot breakfast is poor value, with cold mushrooms to boot.
    "Simply The WORST!"
Upon arrival at the hotel, we didn't feel welcome. The place has very little staff, however that's not the worst part. The young guy [with glasses] booked us in and made us aware that we pre booked 8 meal deals. I then informed him that we had 200 per person dinner allowance, however he informed us that he already booked the meal deals therefore, the allowance couldn't be used. Very unprofessional. Ellie sorted it out after about 20 minutes and the first 2 days went okay. We awoke on Saturday to acknowledge a note outside our door asking us to attend the reception. I went to the reception and Jackie explained the situation. They told us the card was blocked however, it was used both, after and before me attending the reception. Once again, it is extremely unprofessional. Jackie advised us that she would retry at lunchtime. At lunchtime, I was no further on, and in the end, it resulted in us paying a bill of £200, absolutely disgraceful. As Jackie and I were speaking, Nicola was very abrupt, and she was constantly interrupting me. Nicola has a terrible attitude. She should be sacked immediately. Ray also has an attitude, and from the first minute, he took a strange disliking towards us. I believe it was because of our accent. The staff at the goldsmith street are unbelievably inhumane and evil. Ray purposely blocked anymore money from our card because he was extremely envious of us. That trip was supposed to be a present because the partners son tragically lost his life in early June. Of course, my partner is still grieving and is going through a horrible year along with battling a horrific illness. I have another booking for that dump of a place however, there's more chance in hell freezing over than me returning to Goldsmith. I logged a complaint and it took almost 1 month for a reply. Beyond a joke. I am currently liaison with the Nottingham council in attempt of getting this horrific place closed down. While we were absent from the room on one afternoon, £90 was taken from my trouser pocket. They stole money from a person who is suffering with an illness. They should be extremely proud.
"Great location, friendly staff, carpark nearby, great breakfast, and of course a Lovely comfy bed."
Excellent check in. Friendly person on the desk was Shannon who was super friendly, lovely complementary bottle of Prosecco for our friend’s birthday. No hassle went straight to get us 4 glasses and an ice bucket with ice. This Really made our stay. Good location. Parking nearby with wide parking bays. Great breakfast, super attentive lady at breakfast who looked after everyone. Happy all the time. Chef was helpful and friendly too. Kept the breakfast well stocked.
    "Ok hotel"
Not a bad hotel been in better premier inns very dusty room and noisy my room was on 3rd floor accessible double with tea coffee facilities TV desk and more bed was very comfy like normal pull cord in emergency bathroom low bath with rails loo and sink with white towels. It was a noisy room due to trams outside however u can't help that reception staff friendly and welcoming with vending machine for a snack or drink because the restaurant and bar doesn't open till 6pm which is a bit daft so not sure if I would stay again due to dust and restaurant
    "Great stay 10/10"
I stayed for my graduation and the staff and hotel were amazing! All staff members were very accommodating and the breakfast was great. Jo, Jordan and Alex at Costa made myself and my family lovely coffees. Best hotel in Nottingham!
