"Could be better"
Lovely room and comfy bed. Waiting ages - here now - for food. Ah it’s arrived - 35 minutes after sitting ! Only one lady working - bar , restaurant, cleaning, orders , poor girl! This happened last time we were here , coming again next month - hope it’s better then ! Lovely bbq chicken wings but had to ask for finger bowl ! Nice to be offered complimentary drinks as some items on menu not available and for the delay. Cocktails are tasty ! Mains - anyone spot them ? Here after an hour - gammon a bit fatty tho ! Fried eggs overcooked and not runny 😞 Peas were tasteless! As were the grilled tomatoes- all very poor and not worth the money ! The lad on the bar this afternoon was really pleasant and helpful . Husband having dessert- sticky toffee pud - awaiting with interest! 15 mins after ordering has had better tho ! Free dessert drink - the girls are so helpful and lovely, bless them . They need more staff here . No Baileys, Tia Maria or tomato juice! Good night all!
"Amazing team, clean hotel and wonderful food"
This is our 3rd year staying at this Premier Inn while we attend Download Festival and I can honestly say the team have been absolutely stellar every year, they always go the extra mile to make our stay special and are always willing to help when we need anything. Breakfast runs super smoothly with everything we need to set us up for the day and as we tend to stay an extra night before coming home, dinner on the final night is always much needed for our recovery! The rooms are so comfortable and easy to get to, even better after their refurb from last year. It’s so nice to see most of the same faces every year we come so the management are definitely doing something right :) They always provide us with water bottles to take with us, one year we had cute little gift bags, this year even a wellie washing station outside! Small little tokens of kindness that welcome us every year to our favourite festival. Huge thank you as always to Dani and the team for accommodating us for another year 🫶🏻

Service was incredible and staff were very friendly, offered many benefits for people staying for download festival which made us feel completely comfortable and looked after.

Stayed here with my family before heading to the airport the next day , rooms was very clean and very welcoming. Food evening and morning was great and defo worth the money . Would defo stay again . Airport is a 5 min bus journey from hotel or can get a taxi
"Excellent customer service"
Clean, welcoming staff, clean rooms, great beds and pillows. Good food. George, in the restaurant was great, excellent customer service and very attentive to our requirements. Meeting room was well set out and staff were very helpful when we needed anything.
