    From the M6 continue to follow signs for A6/City Centre. Join the A59/Ring road. Turn left onto Corporation St, hotel is on the left. At the traffic lights continue forward and take the next left at Coporation exit.

    "Great Place to Stay for a 30th Anniversary UCLan Reunion"
    Very central so a marvellous location for anyone revisiting Preston who was there as a student. Half the hotel overlooks Friargate and Corporation Street, the other side the rooftops of the town in the other direction, so, roughly speaking, Fishergate. We stayed in the new Premier Plus rooms on the 5th floor, thoroughly recommend. Cleaned by Magda to a very high standard. Enjoyed the coffee from the pod coffee making machine and having two comfortable chairs and a small table in each room was very helpful. The staff (Ishmael, Tariq & Co ) were so helpful and friendly. Made sure our rooms were kept stocked up with enough water, chocolate and coffee. We didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked good and apparently happy to cater for coeliacs. If you are a former student I'd advise you find an old A-Z of the town before turning up, it has changed a lot. It will to make sense of what is there today.

    Wasn't having such a good stay as tv wasn't working and there was loud noises threw the night. My mood changed as a lady called Sue gave us the friendliest welcome at the breakfast part. She was very welcoming and made such a pleasant atmosphere. When we asked for things that had run out she got them no problem and with a smile. Thanks Sue x
    "Lovely Warm Welcome"
    My transport was a bit of a mess from Ireland, so I arrived late after midnight. I arrived a bit concerned, by the night Porter ‘Harry’ was brilliant and made sure I had a very warm welcome and sorted me with a coffee. #ThanksHarry #Legend

    Very good service, attention to detail and kindness. Phil made sure to explain the meal deal and was ready to take my order without russet me. Same for Ismail that spotted I was struggling with the AC and offered to adjust it without me mentioning it. They both showed excellent customer service, they were observant and did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable and fed. Thank you for going above and beyond keeping the right balance. The food was generous and the deal offer is great value for money.
    "Helpful staff and great location"
    Went with my son for a football weekend (Accrington Stanley on Saturday and Preston North End on Sunday). The train station is ideally located so we could leave our bags at reception on arrival and check in later. Also allowed us to leave bags after checking out. Plenty of bars and restaurants just around the corner.

With Blackpool illuminations just a short journey away, not to mention the enchanting manor house Hoghton Tower, there's plenty to keep you busy.
