"Very disappointed"
The hotel is very tired with stained carpets, damaged furniture and in need of a overhaul. The tap controling the bath and shower water broke and couldn't be switched off when we used it but no phones in the room meant a visit to reception to report it and a concern that we might have flooded the room as the flow was quite fast. Work is being carried out, but we were not informing of this prior to arrival. There's no facilities for disabled parking at the property and no clear instructions regarding the location of the nearest car park. Plus points were the staff, who seem to be up against it because of the poor state of the hotel, the comfort of the bed and the breakfast. The price of our stay did not represent value for money.
"Great hotel, car parking extra tho"
I originally booked a room at Travelodge Preston Central on arrival the place was very dilapidated and appears to being used as a halfway house so I decided against staying there and booked a room at the Premier Inn instead. As I'd changed hotels at the last minute and had a food reservation to get to I was in a bit of a rush by the time I got there but the staff were very helpful, efficient and able to point me to the nearest car park as the hotel doesn't have one. The room was clean, the bed extremely comfortable, there were extra pillows which I used. The location is great for central Preston. The place was quiet at night, room the curtains did a great job of keeping the light out and the smoke alarm didn't have flashing lights on it.
"Our Trip"
A lovely stay for my birthday and visiting our family. Very comfortable accessible room. Enjoyable breakfasts. Sue ( in the restaurant) for our breakfast's, is wonderful, very friendly and very helpful. Made our stay extra special. Thank You.
"Great one night stay…!"
Stayed for one night on business. Lovely hotel and really nice room - it was quiet, the bed was super comfy and it was clean. Sue the breakfast host was absolutely delightful, she was warm, kind and caring to everyone. She is a real asset to the hotel and I heard her saying that she is retiring - I hope Premier Inn celebrates her wonderful work 💗
"100% Recommend this hotel"
This is an amazing hotel amd would 100% recommend it. Me and my friends had a fantastic time the rooms are lovely and the beds are comfy just what you need after a long day. The bathroom and bedrooms were clean and tidy. The staff at the hotel were very polite, helpful and understanding and it is right in town which was perfect for our night out.
