"Lovely Stay at the Brentwood Premier Inn"

We had a wonderful stay at your Brentwood hotel over the weekend. A special mention goes to Gary, who was on duty when we arrived at 2:30pm on the 21st. He was truly exceptional, warm, friendly, and highly professional throughout. Gary went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. His helpful and engaging manner really stood out and made a lasting impression. Thanks to him, our experience at your hotel was especially enjoyable. We would happily return and greatly appreciate the excellent service we received.

Disappointing Stay – Cleanliness Issues & Poor Resolution I recently stayed at Premier Inn Brentwood and unfortunately, the experience fell well below expectations. On arrival, we were welcomed by a lovely member of staff, Courtney, who was friendly and professional. However, the condition of the room was very concerning. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, with visible hairs on the sink, bath, and floor, and there was urine behind the toilet lid. More worrying was finding an insect crawling on my son’s bed, which caused understandable distress. I have photographic evidence of this. As a result, I had to clean parts of the room myself before my son felt comfortable enough to use the bathroom or settle to sleep. The following morning, the experience did not improve. Communication from one staff member felt quite forceful and uncomfortable, and the atmosphere at breakfast was unwelcoming, with the chef appearing visibly unhappy and dismissive towards guests. I raised this formally with customer services and provided full details and evidence. While a small goodwill refund of £36 was offered, I do not feel this reflects the seriousness of the issues experienced. Overall, this stay did not meet the standard I would expect, particularly in terms of cleanliness and customer experience.
