"Awesome stay at super price"

We stayed as a group of 3 overnight - check in was easy and felt very secure given current COVID measures. The premier plus room we had booked did not disappoint - spotless, modern, double shower, coffee machine and water - little touches that made this feel far from the budget price we paid. We ate in the restaurant and the burgers were juicy and piping hot - I ordered a random combination of starter chicken wings and chips as a meal and they were more than happy to accommodate. We were actually given a £5 voucher each towards a drink which virtually offset the price increase to the plus room. Breakfast was cooked to order and the swift and pleasant service by Sam was fantastic. Considering this was a last minute booking out of necessity we couldn't have asked for more. Great job Premier Inn.

"Couldn't organise a in a brewery "

We have stayed at this Hotel on our return from the Highlands for the last four years, tonight being the 5th, last year wasn't the best but the hotel has out done themselves in their levels of incompetence this year, I booked a Premier plus room earlier in the year and arrived to be told it was a double, I told the very friendly receptionist (sarcasm intended) I would find my confirmation email, "don't bother because you can only have a double" I find it really amusing that companies that have been hit hard by Covid so readily use it as an excuse to offer appalling customer service, she also had a black computer screen, how convenient, I will choose an alternative in the future and it's obvious to me how empty the Car park is that others are too

"Overnight stop"

Everything was as expected. Reception team welcoming and helpful. The room itself was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The hotel is having refurbishment done but you would never know. Meals can be purchased and although they say take away you are able to sit within the restaurant to have them you just have to book a time. Breakfast times had to be booked because of the covid restrictions but that is not a problem. Everything table service but you could have as much or as little as you liked.

Travelled to Carlisle on our UK road trip, and stopped in a Premier Inn Plus room. The hotel was having work done, so access to rooms was restricted, and in this hotel you have to go down a flight of stairs, then up two or three flights to your room. The Plus rooms were a long way from reception down a seemingly never ending corridor. The room itself was spacious, clean and well presented, well worth the extra money! Reception were helpful and informative. Purchased a meal deal, and the evening meal was a menu of takeaway meals which you had to eat in your room, although they were allowing you to sit in the bar to drink. The following morning, you were allowed to sit in the restaurant for breakfast. Bizarre! Covid measures were in place, and staff wore masks with most customers doing the same. WARNING! I ordered the Chicken curry, which includes chilli peppers which was not on the menu! They were very hot!!!

"5* fantasic stay"

Large family stayed for 1 night in 2 rooms enroute to a holiday down south Rooms were very clean and comfortable, surprisingly quiet too even though very handily located right by the M6. Staff were very friendly and welcoming both at reception and in the morning at breakfast. As ever in a Premier Inn, breakfast with kids is great value with kids dining free with adult breakfast. Breakfast was well made and good quility. Table service at the moment, which although not as good as serving yourself, worked well and plenty of food and drinks offered. We will definitely stay here again, great price, location and service.
