"Wonderful"
Amazing service, clean rooms, lovely greeting from Bevv, overly genuinely happy with the stay, staff are lovely, food is perfect
"Stay"
Another great stay here. Thanks to receptionist Tracey for the lovely cold water and to bev for the glass of Bailey's and cold beer for the other half before we went out. Hot rooms but it's a heatwave but fan and spare sheet given so was bearable. Will be back again in sept
"Great stay"
Very friendly staff at reception and room was very tidy and clean. Easy enough to check in a plenty of car park spaces. Would highly recommend staying here
"Needs a serious update."
Sayed 2 nights for a reunion, this particular premier inn is in need a very serious upgrade. In all the other premier inns we've stayed at previously they had sockets with phone charging, unfortunately this one didn't and the only way we could charge our phones was to have the TV on so that the one place where you could charge a phone would work. The bedroom was boiling hot, could do with aircon as we only had a fan in the room which didn't do much really, and the window could barely be opened. The bathroom wasn't very clean and had a horrible smell as though someone had had a bad curry the night before!!. There was a shower over the bath but if you're not good on your legs you struggle to get in and out of it. I would suggest that you put a bath mat so people can use it as the bath can get very slippy, also a hand rail would be useful to hold on to. The cooked breakfast was barely warm, different foods on both days were cold, one day hash browns were cold the next day the bacon was cold. The restaurant wasn't open if you wanted any lunch so you have to go elsewhere. The staff were lovely although when we arrived no-one was at reception we had to buzz someone who came from the restaurant area.
"Premier Inn Peterborough North: Still Let Down by the Basics"
Another stay at Premier Inn Peterborough North, and unfortunately the same old problems are still very much present. The water pressure in the shower was, once again, utterly abysmal. I’m honestly starting to wonder if this hotel has ever delivered a proper shower experience. There’s no detachable shower head either, which makes things even worse if you’re on the larger side. What should be a quick 10-minute shower turns into a 25-minute struggle just to feel like you’ve rinsed everything off properly. This time, I actually ended up checking out a day early because I just couldn’t face another morning dealing with that same poor shower. When something as simple as getting clean becomes a drawn-out chore, it really takes the shine off the whole stay. I’ve also had ongoing issues with the ultimate WiFi. Even though I have a Premier Inn Business Account card, the payment option for it doesn’t work. It’s been a problem ever since Virgin Media took over. I’ve tried multiple times, reported it twice, and never had any kind of response. It’s still broken, which means unless I’m desperate and willing to pay out of pocket, I just go without. It’s a real shame, because Premier Inn could still be a reliable option for work trips if they just sorted out the basics. But when you’re cutting your stay short just to avoid the shower, something clearly isn’t right.
