The oldest building in Coleraine is St. Patrick’s Church, which stands on one of the town’s oldest religious sites, dating back to around 456 AD. Archaeological digs have uncovered medieval foundations beneath the current church, which was completed in 1885. While Coleraine Town Hall is an important historic building from the mid-19th century, St. Patrick’s Church holds the title as the town’s oldest surviving structure.
